Although Bocadillo has traditional and modern tapas, what we specialize in is the bocadillo, a spanish sandwich. Our goal is to take the iconic age old artisan Spanish bar sandwich, and introduce the bocadillo to the masses. A Basque Chicken Bocadillo, Tortilla Espanola Bocadillo, and Fried Calamari Bocadillo to name a few.

The bocadillo in Spain is a sandwich made with a 6 to 8 inch loaf of Spanish bread cut lengthwise, and stuffed with very flavorful fillings such as Spanish chorizo, meats and cheeses, and even crispy fried calamari. Spaniards rarely pile on fillers such as lettuce or tomatoes letting the filling shine through. Today, this humble food over time has evolved into an iconic piece of cuisine. Our menu reflects Chef Javier’s travels to Spain, both as a child and in recent years, and results in his interpretation of the humble Spanish street food fare. Our dishes are prepared quickly, reasonably priced, portable, ordered and picked up right from our tapas bar, and enjoyed in a casual dining room environment. The menu rotates seasonally taking advantage of the great local produce in the Northwest.
