Bollywood Eyebrow Threading

I was in town for the weekend and thought I’d take advantage of this place near the hotel. I read the reviews and thought it sounded mostly good and that hopefully the few bad reviews were outliers. My mistake. I didn’t mind that the person working on my brows took a phone call that was business related. I gave my brows a quick glance before I paid and then a closer look when I got in the car. She did a *horrible* job. She created a noticeable divet in one brow and left the other brow noticeably shorter. It’s my fault that I didn’t go in immediately to complain, but I didn’t want her to try to «fix» them. I was worried she would create more damage. I wish I’d had the experience of the positive reviewers. Unfortunately, I don’t know which person «helped» me.

Aysha did an amazing job with my facial and eyebrows. Such great customer service. Got a Facial and eyebrows done, it was recommended based on my skin type and not what’s more expensive. Super happy that I got the service I paid for.

A trim cost me 6 inches off my hair and I have a chunk missing out of one of my eyebrows!
Please, if you value your hair or eyebrows, do not let them touch it. Heres my experience:
Ive been going here for a while to get my eyebrows done and when I saw that they now offer hair services, I was thrilled because I was due for a trim anyways so why not kill two birds with one stone?! When I walked in, there was only one employee there. I told her what I wanted done and she said ok and sat me down to trim my hair. As shes cutting away, she informs me that she is not the hair stylist, in fact she doesnt even work there, she works at Ulta… you can imagine my horror!!! She was almost done at that point so unfortunatly there was nothing I could do. Right as she finished, the hairstylist walks in and so do a few customers. The other customers were completely ignored, as was I, as the stylist and other lady stood there and talked. I was literally left standing next to the barber chair. Then when the time came to do my eyebrows, I had to wait for both the hairstylist and the Ulta lady to get off their personal phone calls/​texts (which took about 10 mins) and then the hairstylist tells the Ulta lady to do mine while she does the other girls. Mind you, NEITHER OF THEM ARE THE ONES SUPPOSED TO BE DOING BROWS!!! One is a hairstylist and one doesnt even work there! Well the Ulta lady turns to the hairstylist and says «i dont feel comfortable doing her eyebrows because she wants them to be the exact same» after I told Ulta lady that I wasnt sure she should do my eyebrows.
The hairstylist then comes over, does the fastest job ever on my brows, then begins to put makeup on them… usually they ask… this time she didnt… Im thinking oh gahh, did she mess them up??? Oh she did. She took a whole chunk out!!! Long story short, my eyebrow has a chunk missing and a TRIM cost me 6 inches off my hair and its butchered. Ugh. Never going back!

I thought there was no hope for my eyebrows, previous salons had made them very uneven. Leading to that one good eyebrow situation. I let my eyebrows grow out, and decided to come here to get them threaded. The $ 15.00 price is higher than most places, but they did an amazing job. I walked in without an appointment and was quickly attended too, I forgot to get the name of my eye brow artist but she was so sweet! She explained to me that because my eyebrows were uneven she was leaving hairs where I am supposed to grow them out. Definitely would recommend this salon.

Great service. I was helped right away. The eyebrow threading cost me $ 15 and she said that’s how much it costs at most places. I’ve paid less elsewhere, but this is close to my home. My brows were definitely cleaned up and had a pretty good shape.

I have been getting my eyebrows threaded for 15 years. Although Portland does not have a ton of options when it comes to threading, you DO have options. I have been to this shop a total of once and that was plenty for me. Not only was I not greeted when I walked in, the lady who threaded my eyebrows had a full on conversation in another language with the owner while threading my eyebrows. How fun! So basically I am in the middle of this heated debate while basically just wanting to get the hell out of there. Then I notice the threader talking to the owner and looking down at me as though she is looking at something. Basically they were talking about me in addition to having this conversation during my service. Professionalism at its finest! So after that atrocity of an experience, there was no «thank you for coming or hope to see you again.» I was left with «…and just so you know, you cant buy the groupon again… it’s a one time thing.» No worries lady, I wouldn’t come back even if the service was on the house. Avoid if you know what’s good for you ladies.

Dropped in for an eyebrow threading and received FANTASTIC service! Professional, thorough, and gentle (and best of all, a good price). The location was spacious and clean, with a calm atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

I drive 40 min to have my eyebrows done here due to lack of other options. Not anymore. As I’m siting here the woman threading my sisters eyebrows is talking on the phone ordering pizza and juggling the phone and thread. She’s stopped twice now to write things down. She’s clearly not paying attention.
My sister is practically missing an eyebrow.
She made some stupid excuse about being hungry and being a crazy day.
I’m so glad I didn’t let her touch my face. My sisters eyebrow is ruined, we shouldn’t have had to pay for such sloppy, terrible work.

I went to the salon at 1030am on a Thursday. Their sign clearly says 10am-​7pm as their working business hours and they were closed. Lights off, no one answering the phone.
I don’t care how well shaped your eyebrow s will end up it is poor business practice to advertise open hours when no one is there.

My teenage daughter and I have never had eye lash extensions before, we were welcomed by everyone the moment we walked in. They did an excellent job on threading our eyebrows. The owner did my daughters eye lash extensions and they look gorgeous!!! We will defiantly go back. Wonderful experience.

I had to write this given my experience with the hairstylist there. I have had two appointments with her. My first experience was that she wanted me to be on time as she had other clients. I got there several minutes before my appointments and she wasn’t there. She came in about 25 minutes late and did not offer an apology. I made another appointment which again was changed and cancelled on their part. She does not seem to be organized and it is probably not worth spending your time here. This place is probably fine for other services, but I would not recommend the hairstylist there.

Great job and great prices.

UPDATE: drop 5 stars down to 2! Have had to go to the older lady there a few times and my brows are so uneven and she made them so THIN! She tried to tell me she didn’t make them thin. They are lop sided and I will have to work on growing them out! Never going back! The younger girl never seems to be there and it’s not worth risking your eyebrow to the other one. Frustrating.
Got my eyebrows threaded here! The girl recommended getting my brows tinted. I had never thought of doing that! Love it. The place is close to my house and they take walk ins.

Perfect place for getting eyebrows shaped, tinting and your threading done. Sajal is so good with shaping eyebrows and threading.
They offer other services such facial, hair cuts and styling. They also keep Indian traditional dresses and jewelry. It’s quite big and clean place.
For eyebrow services I give them 5 stars.
They are bit pricy but totally worth it. Make sure to take appointments. Sometimes you may need to wait due to Walk-​ins.
I totally recommend them.
