Austin & Alfredo, best movers ever! Also Ashley in the office was very diligent, great with organized paperwork and follow-​up. The men moved very quickly, polite and courteous with my stuff. Best prices, lowest minimum and most efficient service in town. I will definitely use them again and spread the good word!

The team of Alfredo, Daniel and Tony moved us on Monday this week. We were so impressed with their professionalism and speediness. Our whole move only took 4 hours! Bridgetown Moving and Storage is now our go-​to for any moving needs. This team was trustworthy and careful with all of our stuff. Upon arriving to our new home they gave us a welcome gift of coffee and mugs. Thanks so much for your hard work guys!

Bridgetown did a great job. We moved my wife’s daughter from her studio apt to a one-​bedroom apt. We packed her stuff in advance. They showed up on time and as planned. The out-​move and the move-​in each went smoothly. Total time was 2-​hours.

The movers at Bridgetown are phenomenal! They showed up on time and with a great attitude. They used rubber floor mats so the floors never got dirty even though it was raining. Nothing was damaged and no walls were nicked. They were able to move a 3 bedroom house, door to door, in 3 hours. They even gave me a gift when we were done. I hope I never move again, but if I do, I will definitely use them and would recommend them to anyone. Moving can be such a hassle, but these guys made it so easy. Thank you!

My review is a little late as it actually happened in late November, 2015. Our team of Alfredo, Daniel & Tony were fantastic! While we only moved a short one mile away, we lived in our previous home for over ten years and had accumulated a lot of stuff. These guys were fast, friendly, efficient and so helpful! While we were dreading the move (based on past do-​it-​ourselves-​experience) this team was amazing! The cost was reasonable and completely worth it! I’ve recommended them since and would call them again in an instant. Thanks guys! Great job! We appreciated your hard work and excellent customer service.

We moved today with Bridgetown Movers and they were fantastic! Our team of Eddie, Ted, and Jonathan arrived on time, hustled, and completed the move in 2 hours less than what I thought it would take. They were super friendly, polite, and very accommodating. They took great care of our items and made sure not to damage walls/​floors/​etc. Easily the best moving experience that I’ve had. Well done Bridgetown!

These guys hustled more than any movers we have dealt with (and we move a lot!). Total cost was much less as a result. They were courteous and professional and took care with our items. They didn’t do that BS where they charge for time leaving facility and they deducted time they used to stop and get gas. An all around pleasant experience and I would use them again in a heartbeat. Also: they were prompt and communicative as well. Thanks!

If I could give them NO stars I would. I had a nice fat tip ready for the movers and instead I have to use it to repair furniture!
Bridgetown Moving & Storage damaged several pieces of my furniture in my move last week. I have tried to call, email, facebook and tweet them, but without luck.
I was told by the movers that someone would be calling me, but that did not happen. The movers were very nonchalant about the damage to my very expensive antique piano that has been in my family for 125 years, saying «that’s what insurance is for». They were also casual about the damage to a new table that we recently built from a wine barrel. There are other issues and damage as well that need to be remedied. The movers were careless, but I paid for the service because it was the right thing to do (~$ 650). With how many great online reviews they have, you’d think Bridgetown Moving and Storage would put a little more effort into customer service and making this right. (They were great at customer service prior to the move.) Be cautious! Be warned! Updated 2÷1÷16: A few minutes after posting this review Bridgetown called to say someone would contact me soon. The next day, one of the owners phoned and apologized and wanted to «make things right». They ended up sending a detail company to repair most of the damage that the movers caused, although our piano is ruined forever. We ended up with a monetary settlement, but I still would never use such a careless moving company. I’m still heartbroken about our family heirloom being damaged forever.

Fantastic service! Bridgetown does not charge for time until the truck arrives at your move, and stops the clock when the truck leaves. No charge for transit time to and from the warehouse, saves a lot of money.
Moving crews (we used 2 crews on separate days) were great. Very careful with our belongings and house, very hard workers too.
Office staff was very courteous and helpful in scheduling and coordinating our move. I can’t recommend them highly enough. Can’t go wrong with Bridgetown.

Used them to move furniture to Salvation Army. They were one of the most professional moving companies I’ve ever used. The two movers were friendly and efficient!

Bridgetown movers made my move super fast, easy, and professionally.
They showed up on time, went over everything that we needed moved, and even gave us a set of mugs and some coffee beans!
They showed care and respect for our furniture, pointing out scuffs and tear marks in our ancient couch, and the backs of our bookshelves, which I was greatly appreciative of, so that I was not taken by surprise when I saw them later on.
They took great care to lay out carpet, and put on shoe covers.
Also, very reasonably priced, and I will most DEFINATELY use them again.

Fernando and his team showed up as promised and completed the move very efficient and professional.
His crew pays great attention on details, moving from an apartment into a house.

Bridgetown recently helped us with some of the heavier items in our move. I was able to schedule with them with a pretty small lead time. They were prompt and professional. I would use them again.

We needed a move from downtown Portland to the NE. This company charges only from the time they arrive at your old home to the time they leave your new one. There are no charges from their office to you — unlike many moving companies. Scheduling was easy and professional. The movers arrived right on time and wasted no time getting to work! They were careful and considerate of our things and safely moved them to the new house. There was a small worry that we would have to disassemble our giant sectional couch to get it upstairs. However, Edgar, Chris and Eladio worked their ninja-​like skills to get the couch where we wanted it. This was an excellent moving experience and I would definitely recommend this company to anyone!

Let’s start by saying I am very PRO movers. Unfortunately, I am one of those 20-​somethings who’ve had to move about every year for a decade so after the age of 23 I decided that hiring movers was almost ALWAYS worth the minimal cost. With that in mind, I’ve also hired almost a different moving company each time since I have never really had one that blew me away. That was until this past weekend (and of course I actually bought a house this time around so I hopefully won’t be moving for a while!).
Bridgetown was hands down the most professional, efficient, considerate and simply awesome moving company I’ve ever worked with. I would hire or recommend them in a heartbeat. Not only where they prompt (5 minutes early in fact), but they were prepared with all the necessary supplies and then some. They moved every thing super fast, but where also very careful and packed everything incredibly well. The best part was that they even laid out runners to ensure they didn’t drag in a mess — super appreciated as our new house has carpeted stairs and the day we moved was a bit soggy. Thanks so much to Alex and his team for making this moving day so incredibly stress free!

I had a wonderful experience with Bridgetown this past week. Al and Martin (I think? Bad with names.) were so kind, professional, courteous, efficient and careful with my things. They moved me out of a second floor storage unit and into a third floor walk-​up apartment in under 2 hours. Upon moving me in to the apartment Al presented me with a very thoughtful gift of two Bridgetown mugs and some Nossa Familia coffee, which was a very sweet touch on an already fabulous experience. I would highly recommend this company and will definitely contact them for future moves!

I have used Bridgetown for two moves and both times I have been completely blown away. Last week we moved our 1 bedroom apartment with a garage into our new house and they got the move done in 2 ½ hours. There were times that they were literally running my boxes into the house, I couldn’t even believe my eyes! Because of Bridgetown I will literally never move myself again– their service, speed and price is absolutely worth every penny.
Oh, and they also give you coffee and mugs as a little housewarming gift. Too cute.

Eddie and his crew just pulled away from my parents new house and I could not wait to post a review. They were Moving Ninjas! They were polite, respectful, and treated all of my parentals’ belongings with care. Never mind the warp speed and superhuman strength they exhibited. The service and care were top notch. My parents had 25 years’ worth of stuff and the guys were able to alleviate a lot of stress. Could not be happier with their service!
I’ll be recommending to everyone I know. If only all service companies had this kind of SERVICE.

FIVE STARS! Just moved my little apartment to NE and couldn’t have been happier with the service. The guys showed up early (after calling to make sure it was fine to do so), moved all of my pre-​packed stuff gently and efficiently — and got me to NE in a jiffy.
Upon getting to the new place, they gave me a gift of two mugs and some delicious stumptown coffee, which was a very thoughtful gift.
Moving everything was a breeze — both guys were friendly and courteous. They even moved a few large things into the basement for me so I wouldn’t have to.
I will be recommending Bridgetown to all of my friends and clients for any move, large or small. Thank you for the great service, Bridgetown!
