I was online trying to order an item from
and noticed that they no longer made the color I was looking for. I was able to find the item in Portland. I live just outside Seattle, but I really wanted this item. I called the Cascades Parkway location and was VERY Fortunate to speak with Tammy.
I explained my situation to her and she was unbelievably helpful, friendly, and kind. She was able to find the item in the store in just a few moments. Tammy was so wonderful! She took down all of my information and was genuinely concerned that she had to ship it out quickly so I would have it as soon as possible. She was so thoughtful and just really cared about my order and rushed off to get it shipped in time. I had it 2 days later!

I had a customer service issue but they got back to me promptly. I’m a happy customer again. Like another reviewer mentioned, Carhartt is not just tough workwear but has great looking clothing and accessories.

I went to this Cascade Station store for the last time yesterday. Every time I have been in there the customer service hasn’t existed. Yesterday there was four employees all ‘hanging out’ near the cash registers and none of them even said hello to me. The customer service is terrible, later that day I went into a Dollar Tree (a dollar store) and was getting hellos from all their employees even when they were busy stocking shelves. The prices in this store has always been at least 15% more expensive than at Dicks and Fred Meyers as well for the same items. I would not recommend any Carhartt Store, stick with the other chain stores if you prefer good customer service and better pricing.

I don’t get all these other reviews. I stop at the Cascade Station Carhartt store all the time and I drive from Hillsboro (would love a store on the Westside). I love their clothes and the staff is always helpful and friendly. Some of the staff recognize me when I go in as well, can’t expect them to remember my name, but for them to recognize me shows a lot about their customer service. Always have a good selection of styles and sizes. I work construction so its nice to have clothes that can keep me warm/​dry, look good, and stand up to the abuse. I have at least 5 – 6 pairs of their pants, 4 – 5 coats and 15 – 20 shirts. I’m a Carhartt shopper for life.

Go to the store, maybe you’ll have better luck.
The WORST shipping experience I have ever known; ya think they were shipping overseas. Instead, it’s KY to WA, and here I am, 10 days later, waiting for a hat and pair of gloves, which still hasn’t arrived.
This is why virtual giants like Amazon are eating these guys for lunch.
You can’t afford to do business this way, not in this day and age.

I wanted to try Carhartt out because I was looking for a new work pant not only for me, but for a new employee uniform. Someone mentioned to me that I should try this brand over Dickies, so I went to check it out this past Saturday at the Cascade Location near the airport. The one thing that was great is that their prices are reasonable, but the customer service is something else to talk about.
First off, if you want to find a dressing room, there are only two for the entire store, when they should have at least four of them. In addition, it is challenging to find an employee because none of them are wearing name tags or a way to determine they work at the store. The last thing really blew my mind was: So they said that if they did not have my size, that they could order in store via online and it would come with free shipping. So I said, sure, that is a great idea. When the person came around and tried to put the order in, she told me the internet was slow. After waiting for a bit, she got her manager to help reboot the system, but nothing. I asked her if I could order the same thing online from home if she gave me the model number. What she should of done was to call it in and do it over the phone, because when I ordered it online, it was 18% more expensive and I had to pay for shipping. I thought that was lame that the in store price was cheaper than the online price. I even chatted with customer service (online chat) and they said there was nothing they could do. I ended up ordering the pant online, but I do not think I will be visiting a store anytime soon. The whole experience was not pleasing, I pretty much wasted a good hour of my day going to their store, when I could of just done it online, or went to another store and got something that was comparable.

Great products, as for the service, you are lucky if you find anyone with a pulse in the store, hope they survive. Same in Seattle, apparently not in the business of selling and servicing.

Hubby loves this brand, not much selection, but what more do you need for a more factory/​construction setting kind of work clothes? Very clean and organized and nicely displayed, easy to find sale items and such too. Staff was friendly and there to be asked questions! They also have some very cute infant clothing too. Only downfall is how PRICEY this place is! Crazy! But I have to admit this brand of clothing is HIGH quality and it will last you a very long time, I mean it better, this brand is suited for ‘manly’ jobs.

I’m primarily a White Collar guy, and haven’t always given a lot of thought to Blue Collar clothes. Yet I was recently on an Earthwatch Expedition and started paying attention to what the scientists and my colleagues were wearing. The pants were heavily Carhartt and they looked handy and good looking.
During a recent Weekend, my Son and I were staying at an Airport-​area Hotel. He wanted to hang out in the room and I wanted to be out and about. So I took a short Cascades Station leave and wandered into the Carhartt Store to look around. I was amazed as I looked around. What had I been missing?
I ended up with a couple pair of slacks that not only looked good, but fit my «buff» 50+ year old body really well. I also signed up for their Rewards Card and am now on my way to a future 30% off purchase. That of course means that when I next return to PDX, I’ll stop here either coming or going.

Great place to try out every conceivable combination of colour and style that Carhartt makes. I only wear Carhartt pants — I *own* other pants, but the only ones I ever *put on* are my six pairs of Carhartts. The side pocket is the perfect size for my iPhone, and once I found that perfect fit I never looked back.
The staff here are friendly but not pestering, the changerooms are massive and lack the privacy-​invasive cameras popping up in every retail location these days.

Don’t know what the problem is with the review earlier this year, but I thought the service was great from the men’s side and the women’s as I bought pants from both sides for me! Maybe they offensive sales people are gone cause there is no problem with service, knowledge or price now.

Get your ass to Coastal Farm and Home Supply in Gresham or Oregon City if you want a great selection of Carharrt.

This is the working man’s clothing store. The stuff is built like a tank and appears it can survive anything a person will throw at it. I found Men’s Washed Double Front Dungaree reminded of the Sear’s Husky jeans I wore a child, built to last. The clothing here is designed be tough and last. Triple stitches and thick material. If a person is after outdoor working clothing, this is the place to get it.
The staff is friendly and helpful. They even told me that there are pads designed for the Double Front pants. Basically the pad slides in between the two layers of denim fabric. Pretty cool.

Awesome store. I had always wanted to stop in just never did.
It is right next to IKEA which is right next to the PDX airport. I think it is the Cascade exit to get there.
I got some work jeans that I didn’t even know I wanted. :) They are $ 54 Double Front Denim Carpenter Jeans with a little stretch. Basically the knees are double thick… but otherwise they fit and look like regular jeans. I actually really like them… and I am picky about jeans, and wear jeans all the time. Oh, and they have these knee pads you can insert in permanently into these jeans. A big score considering what I use them for overhauling cemeteries. Okay, I am a fan.
They have the Carhartt clothes you always knew about… and so much more. Carhartt has really come a long way! They are NOT the super, over the top stiff clothes you might remember them as being. They have those still… but also ones that are comfy on day one.
They have:
Women’s jeans in denim and in black, khaki green, brown and tan. They had work t-​shirts that *breathe* in various styles (sleeveless, short sleeve, long)…they also have boots, shoes, overalls, socks… everything. Oh, and even kids Carhartt clothes! Seriously cute little kid overalls. omg cute.
Of course, they have all of the above… but for men.
I had them look up regular jeans just like these but without the double patch… now to just go and order them. They said they would order them and have them come in… but, I hate clothes shopping as it is. Seriously. I would rather just pay the shipping… and have them come to my house. I can always return them in person if need be.
I am a fan now. Definitely. But, I knew I would be. :)
