The service center on Naito is a Scout store that sells great outdoor gear, Scout uniforms, patches, etc… The location is also the nerve center for the Cascade Pacific Council which serves eighteen counties of Northwest Oregon and Southwest Washington with over 25,000 youth served in programs for boys age 7 through 20, and for girls age 14 through 20.

You come here for a reason. It fulfills that reason. Beware the guy who acts all put out when you don’t buy what he suggests. Other than that, it has lots of things you need.

In a previous visit the staff offered little to write home about. In my last trip the store staff made the need to get BSA gear a positive one. The staff in the Council office could still use some pointers on how to be polite, friendly, and attentive to folk that walk in but they now have at least one good employee.
