Chevron Station #90188

This station is quick, friendly, and conveniently located, especially if your weekends involve numerous back and forth trips to the Home Depot and Target. But this particular station serves another purpose which borders somewhere between high entertainment value and rampant stupidity. You see, as you are driving down Stark Street toward town, you absolutely must keep an eye out for idiots who exit this station and head the wrong way up Stark Street.
I cannot tell you how many times I’ve been stuck at the light on 82^nd Avenue and Stark only to notice that I have headlights facing me in my lane. Eventually there is a pure «Oh shit» moment when these folks realize what they have done. The smart ones will make a quick right down 82^nd Avenue to get out of the way. But the smart ones aren’t what makes this a high entertainment value location. No, that honor goes to the «other ones.» The ones who try all sorts of maneuvering to whip the car around so that it is facing the right direction, usually blocking several lanes of oncoming traffic in their panic.
Oh, and while you’re getting your gas, keep an eye on the McDonald’s parking lot and bus stop across the street. Crazy shit goes down over there. You won’t want to miss it.
