History

Established in 2012.

Mix a handful of plant nerds who like to eat well and hate commuting out of our neighborhood for garden supplies with a rad vacant double bay garage and years worth of saved and left over seeds and you get City Farm! We got tired of constantly having to leave our community to pick up a lot of or organic gardening supplies and thought that St. Johns could use a green space for folks to come and hang out, get inspired about tearing up that last patch of lawn and maybe take home something new to grow out. We like to eat well, we like our friends and neighbors to be able to eat well, and we like to do it all as locally as possible. Tomatoes out of your backyard will always taste better than the ones shipped from thousands of miles away. Especially tomatoes from your yard that you put in jars and pull out around mid February when everything seems like it is made from kale. Stop by and let us help you with that.
