I’ve been asked to join here many times. This post is non meal specific… just a general post. The inner city mansion and room ambiance is certainly cool. It gives off a certain aura of pomp that’s kind of dated and passé for my taste. That said… the center bar… both from design and period dating… plus the liquor selection is very nice. I had a Tanquaray… chilled…stirred…up…three olives… it fit the mood perfect… and was prepared very well. The members reserve dining in advance and choose various rooms of different décor and theme… I found the menu limited when I last went… my member friend suggested it was as well… and suggested they were in between menu rotations… I’m good with that. My spin on the dining was that the service was excellent… plenty of staff… the food quality and creativity was slightly above average. I was not wow factored by any aspect of either mine or by member friends selections. Overall… I’m glad to be invited…3 plus stars

This is a private social club. Nice 200+ year old mansion converted to a very cool restaurant and bar. Multiple cozy living rooms with fireplaces. Multiple dining rooms and really great service. Open to the public for reservations, during restaurant week only. Very nice homey feel. The food was very good. Chefs salad with crab cake, lobster stew, crème brûlée. All perfectly prepared.
