Danielle Melanson, Licensed acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist is located in SE Portland. She is on most insurance panels and encourages her clients to take advantage of their coverage.

Danielle has a Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine. She is board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM.) Danielle has additional certification in Chinese herbal medicine and prescribes custom Chinese herbal formulas to her patients.

Danielle has a special interest in women’s health, and focuses her practice on all transitions in a woman’s life, from the first menstrual cycle to beyond menopause.

My first priority as a health care provider is to take the proper time to listen and establish long-​term, caring relationships with every patient. I believe acupuncture and Chinese herbs have the ability to heal on many different levels, and I know the journey to health is unique for each of my clients. It is my wish that through education, open heartedness and a supportive environment, every patient will find their own level of optimal health. My intention as a practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is to help patients become more aware of their bodies and state of health.
