I’ve been to Deluxe twice now, and I think they do a fantastic job. Tu has done my nails both times, and both times offered suggestions on colors and styles. The shop always seems to be very busy, but the employees are speedy and thorough. I really enjoy getting nails done here!

Went here thinking I could have an acrylic fill, very disappointed, didn’t happen, they don’t do acrylic! Boo! But they show up under acrylic! Did get a pedi and it was very nice, not the best I’ve had but it was very good. Tu did my nails and she is lovely. She did a lovely job and I would go back.

I feel cheated! We came in because of the good reviews. The salon got busy shortly after we arrived and then everything was a rush to jam as many people through as they could. It was a race to get to the next person. Definitely not worth the money, and in our experience not deserving of the high rating.

Great pedicure — it’s been over a month and it still looks great. The service was good and it was a very relaxing experience. I took my 9 year old daughter with me for our annual pedicure outing and they were very sweet to her. I wish nail salons would start taking credit cards — that’s the only drawback!

Ugh, if only I lived in Portland. I was in Portland to visit for about a week and in dire need for a manicure. I randomly walked into this nail salon and I honestly was not expecting much– I just wanted a quick mani so I wasn’t looking for the fanciest or best salon… BUT THIS WAS IT.
If I lived in Portland, this would probably be my go-​to nail salon. Customer service was just on point here. The best customer service I’ve ever received in any nail salon. In LA, I usually feel rushed and I’m not there to «relax» and be pampered. Here, I felt so welcome and so relaxed! The nail technicians also bring you out drinks if you want– even wine! This is truly the best nail salon I’ve ever been to. I want to move to Portland just to be with these nail technicians.

The best shellac that I have ever gotten! The first time I got the shellac, it lasted, no joke, a month. Four weeks of typing, doing dishes, and cleaning. This was my third time back, and I definately won’t be going anywhere else anytime soon. Also, it smells amazing. Not one whiff of bad nail salon smell.

I came here for the first time with my mom today. It was a Sunday evening and we didn’t have appointments. They gladly welcomed us even though they were closing in an hour. I have to say it was an amazing experience. I will be back here every 2 weeks. It’s clean and they have personal nail kits for everyone. Every employee was so nice and friendly. They deserve your business for sure !

Have been to every nail salon on Hawthorne– Tu is fantastic. She takes her time with nails and brows, gives an excellent massage, and prioritizes her appointments so they don’t get put on the backburner to make room for walk-​ins. She will fix any chipped shellac nail within a week or so of your appointment. Everyone here makes a point of making you feel welcome and relaxed, highly recommended.

Literally the best my nails have always looked. Ove been having a hard time finding a nail salon since I’ve moved back from Seattle. They take a lot of time and are extremely detailed. Their reviews all say that they last forever without chipping, so I’m excited to see how long the shelac lasts. Plus I absolutely love the color.

Deluxe Nails rocks and Tu’s the best! After trying every nail salon on Hawthorne, Deluxe is the only one I go to now for shellac and pedis. Can’t beat the service, price or complimentary wine and champagne!
There’s a few others right by it, be sure you go to the one on the corner of Hawthorne and 33rd.

This place was great, Tu was my nail tech and she was very detail oriented and gave a great mani pedi! Love the complimentary wine or mimosa, clean chairs and tools. Definitely recommend this place, I’ll be back!

My friend and I dropped in for manis on a Thursday morning and walked right in. We were offered a mimosa, a good arm/​hand massage, and our nails turned out perfectly. I’d definitely go back again!

Wednesday 2⁄24 three days ago I had my nails done. This is what they look like today. And it took forever to get the done. I do my nails every few weeks or so. Shellac, gel or regular. Mani and pedi. I am aware of what a great job looks like. I’ll give them another chance but I’m hoping maybe they will see this and compensate for how terrible these are.

Have been looking for a nail place in my neighborhood and decided to try Deluxe, most because of the great reviews they had on Unilocal.Such a great experience and will definitely be back!
I came on a weekday during the morning, so it wasn’t crowded, which was great. The salon is super clean and very relaxing. They offer you a beverage when you first get there (tea, coffee, mimosa, etc.) which is nice. I got a gel manicure ($ 26) and am so happy with it! They did such a great job and even told me to come back if it chipped and they’d fix it for free. The women who work there are super sweet and friendly. Definitely recommend it!

A lot of nail places seem to be a ‘dime a dozen’ but I’ve really been impressed each time I’ve gone in for pedi and shellac mani. They have a lot of great colors to choose from too. (I’ve also had my upper lip and eyebrows waxed and they did an awesome job.)
If they’re busy you kind of get shuffled around to different people, which seems to be the case in most of the non-​spa nail places and kind of expected. The staff is super friendly and they’ve all done a great job. They also remodeled this fall so everything is new and super clean.
A lot of nail places you have to barter with them about services and sometimes you get a surprisingly large tab that you didn’t know you agreed to — but I’ve not yet had that experience here which alone is reason enough for my kudos.

I just moved to the area and needed an amazing nail salon I can be a regular at. Deluxe nails made sure to learn my name, told me how they’re doing a 20% off special since they’re new and got me right into a pedicure chair with a mimosa and trashy magazine
The kind lady who did my toes did an amazing job, my heels are actually soft! And Tu did my manicure with perfect accuracy. I love the color, and they did 3 coats not 2 of my shellac… no one does that!
I’ll recommend this salon to everyone
