Had a great experience with the guys here. Total came to a bit more then what I was quoted, but they did do extra work. And I went back a second time for them to adjust the sound of the exhaust and they did more then what I paid for to make sure I was completely happy. If use them again for sure.
The wait was a bit long but they did seem busy. Not sure if it’s always like that.

Awesome guys and funny as hell. I’ve been going there for any vehicular issues I have and they have always taken care of me. I have brought multiple friends over and they were also pleased with the service. I would highly recommend getting any of your car needs done there! Doug, Tracy and Eddie are great guys also!

I came in to this place to get a muffler replaced on my 4runner, they got it replaced for me in about 30 minutes, and it only cost me $ 80.00. The guys that work there and the business itself has a kind of «rough-​around-​the-​edges» look to it, but don’t let that fool you, they get the job done, it gets done fast, and for an unbeatable price! This business gets 5 stars for the service and value alone. Hole in the wall? yes, but that’s not why you are coming here.

These guys are great! The owner reminds me a little bit of the Car Talk guys. I don’t think he tries to be funny. No real humor, per se, but a kindly, self-​efacing, low-​key fellow, who pokes fun at his bad eyes and how he talks to himself while researching your part. He’ll make the best deal he can for you. He was sympathetic and informative about where my catalytic converter probably ended up — a whole section was cut out of my exhaust system! Apparently, the catalytic converter contains Titanium and that’s good money for the druggies! This AINT Midas, but if you want excellent work, warrantied for 2 years, and a price you CAN NOT beat, these are the guys!

They care about cars. I went in for a new muffler. They fixed my gas leak, muffler and reattached my hitch. Thanks guys! Now my quite ride can get a few more miles on it. Enjoying my 2 yr warranty! No more underbelly problems on this car.

Great service and attitude, work was awesome!!! They initially quoted me at a certain price… only to realize later that they had underestimated the labor cost. When I got in to pick up my car, they let me know that the labor costs could have been a lot more, and here are their direct words, «Because we are men of our honor, we’ll only charge what we quoted you at…» Honesty and Integrity is hard to find these days, I definitely give these guys a thumbs up!!!

I am a little delinquent in writing this review but this was my experience. I took a old cast iron lamp that was broken in two into the shop in hopes that they could weld it. It was done within five minutes. The guy did a great job and didn’t charge a dime. The lamp had sentimental value to me so it meant a lot they they were able to fix it. I think that my experience says a lot about who works at Discount Muffler and Auto Repair and what you can expect by going there.

Great prices, awesome customer service and very knowledgable. My broken tail pipe was fixed for ¼ the price a chain shop quoted me in half an hour. I’ll be telling all of my friends to come here!!!

This place has an interesting story behind it for me. First off his employees don’t know what they’re talking about. They told me the part couldn’t be repaired and that their boss might be able to build a new one, but it would be extremely expensive. A few days later I ran into the owner of the place, because my car was at the shop attached to the same building. He looked the part over and said he could fix it without a problem, and he would have it done in no time. I decided to give this place a second chance even though I had already found someone to do the job (part was halfway done by the time I got it to him). He eventually got the job done, but not as soon as he said he would. You have to stand over his shoulder annoying him so he gets your job done first, else he’ll move onto another job. It seems his employees are worthless since throughout the day when I would go to check on his progress he was needing to do most the work on other projects. If he’s not doing the work, it seems he has to stand there making sure his employees get it done. This is just my experience, and impression of this place. He knows what he is doing, and when he finally gets it done, it’s good work. You just have to be patient because he’s the only one at that shop that can get it done.
