History

Established in 2005.

Division Leap began as a secret apartment gallery in New York City in 2005 run by Adam Davis and Kate Schaefer. In 2011 Division Leap moved back to Portland, Oregon, and operated out a variety of spaces and storefronts, hosting over a hundred readings, exhibitions, and other events during that time. Beginning in October 2015, DL calls the Bullier Building in downtown Portland home. We welcome visitors by appointment.

Adam Davis is a bookseller, writer, and publisher. He believes that everything exists to end up in a book.
