History

Established in 1987.

Company president and founder, Doug Bean has been in the real estate business since 1972. Prior to forming his own company in 1987, he was vice president and a member of the executive committee of another major commercial brokerage firm in Portland. Doug is a repeat winner of the Most Valuable Broker Award given annually by the Portland Association of Building Owners and Managers (BOMA) in recognition of having leased more space than any other Broker. Doug has also been repeatedly recognized by the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors winning both the largest dollar volume cooperative transaction and the largest number of cooperative transactions on a national level. Most recently, Doug received Office Broker of the Year for 1999 from the Oregon/​Southwest Washington Commercial Association of Realtors. Doug has represented some of Oregon’s most prestigious corporations and law firms including Louisiana-​Pacific Corporation and Oregon HealthNet.

Doug is a member of numerous professional groups including: past president of the Oregon-​Columbia River Chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management (CPM); Past President of Greater Metropolitan Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA); member of the Greater Portland Vancouver Commercial Association of Realtors, Oregon Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, and a member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) holding an Active Office Designation and a former National Board of Directors of SIOR. Doug earned his MBA degree in real estate and finance and Bachelor’s Degree in economics, both from the University of Oregon.

He specializes in agency leasing, sales, property management, consulting and tenant advisory services.
