Used them once and will use them again. Very feiendlt, communicative and their prices are reasonable. I typically don’t hire house cleaners but will do once a month from now on.

Like lots of renters in Portland my apartment is vintage & with that comes cleaning challenges! So I bit the bullet and hired the team at ergo errands to help me out. Let me tell you, their awesome Unilocal reviews are for a reason.
My house feels like new again! They deep cleaned all the grout, hand washes the baseboards, sweets, vacuumed, dusted — you name it, they did it.
I will definitely recommend their service to people in need of some extra help with cleaning!

I had been toying with the idea of setting up a regular house cleaning service and chose Ergo based on their Unilocal reviews. I’m elated with their service. Lora has been tremendous in working with me to schedule the appointments and the crew and results have been fantastic. They are sweet, thorough, accomodating of our 4 pets and their craziness and the place is spotless. They have cleaned up stains I thought were going to be a permanent fixture on the house. I couldn’t recommend them enough.

Ergo errands has been helping me for several years now and I am so pleased with their service! They clean so well, help me with my laundry and always do a few extra things that help me out. They are so sweet to my kids and dog. They are always on time, work quickly and are SO NICE!!! They always show up with a smile, ready to work! Ergo Errands is amazing. They are not only incredibly effective and efficient, but also super friendly and professional. I have had to change schedules on them several times and they have always been incredibly accommodating. They are hard workers who seriously don’t miss an inch. It’s like night and day in my house after they’ve done their job. I can tell they take pride in their work and honestly care about their customers. They don’t just clean the house, they TAKE CARE of the house.

I love these guys. They are punctual, do an excellent job, and are absolutely the nicest people. They were the first cleaning service I ever hired, and they put me so much at ease the first time they came over that I was almost immediately comfortable leaving them with some keys and just letting them do their thing.

Kate cleaned my bathroom today and I’m in awe! She was polite, professional, and thorough. She made my tub sparkle and my bathroom looks amazing. I would definitely use Ergo Errands again. She didn’t even mind my neurotic Corgi barking while she was cleaning. I would love to know what cleaning solutions they use because it made my bathroom smell amazing. I can’t say enough good things about the team from Ergo Errands. Lora and her team made my recently moved-​out-​of home (three years’ worth of grime, dog hair and who knows what) gleam like it was brand new. I’ve never seen the kitchen so spotless! Lora was responsive and flexible with scheduling and made everything as easy as can be. Her team members are polite, professional and completely thorough. I would hire them again in a heartbeat and recommend you do the same!

They did such a good job! We had the do our house for the first time and it was just amazing. We did some serious renovation (and tried our best to clean up…) so they had a TON of floor grim to deal with. I’ve never seen those floors look so nice. SO good!

OMG — amazing work! I had these women come in today to clean our house for the first time today and they did an amazing job. Julie, Shell and Rachel did a phenomenal job cleaning today. They went above and beyond, working on areas I hadn’t anticipated they would spend time on. I frickin love these ladies! I am such a perfectionist that I never thought I could find a team that is as exacting, professional and trustworthy as this. Lora is responsive to my emails, and Julie the manager is professional and wonderful with her her cleaning team. I have not yet used them for personal assistant hours but I would never hesitate to refer people to them that need a helping hand. They are AWESOME!

Coming home to a clean house? Priceless. As a working mom I do the usual daily cleaning: wipe counters, vacuum, scour bathrooms… but deep cleaning, uh, not so much. So when a old friend was coming into town for a weekend visit, I called Ergo Errands. Luca and Alexa did a fantastic deep clean on my house (including washing the walls and scrubbing the kitchen counter tile ’til it shone) now I can relax. I will definitely use them again, I’m already scheduled for next month!

I had never hired a house cleaning service before and didn’t know what to expect. After looking at different companies, I chose Ergo Errands. First of all, they are licensed, bonded and insured and had many 5 star Unilocal reviews so I had confidence they were trustworthy and would do a good job. They are also a local company, use green cleaning products and based on their website seem to really value their employees and treat them well. Also, Lora, the owner got back to me quickly after I sent a cleaning request.
We had only planned on getting 1 clean but we were so impressed that we booked a few more cleans and have had 2 so far. Alexa and Katie were the cleaners and both times they did an excellent job, very thorough. It was so nice for my husband and I to come home to a clean house, instant calm!

It is difficult, if not impossible, to find a cleaning service that is as reliable as they are proficient. Lora’s staff combines these attributes with a sterling customer-​focused attitude. We found Ergo after not one, but two other companies flaked on us.
Lora’s team has been a godsend. The are reliable, friendly, respectful and very good at what they do. Are things clean? Yes! But beyond the great job they do, they are accessible. They text before they arrive. They clean in the order that we need so that we handle our varied and sometimes crazy morning routine, they handle special requests and they are completely trustworthy. When new staff is being trained, we are informed and introduced. It never feels like there are strangers in the house. When we are home, the team cleans around us in an unobtrusive, but not unfriendly way.
As for «special requests» Lora has helped us with cat and house-​sitting, taking trash to the curb and the bins back when we are away and even contracting with a carpet shampoo company.
We trust Lora and her team implicitly and you should too. A big shout out too to Julie, who trains the new folks and is our lead person. She’s competent, accessible and has been a steady presence throughout the past year who has ensured consistency in the high quality and excellent customer service we experience EVERY TIME our house is cleaned.

So this is the very time I’ve ever hired a professional cleaning service to come out to my apartment. With the anticipation of hosting 4 – 5 sets of out of town guest and being really busy with work, I just have not have the time or energy to do a deep clean on my place.
I reached out to ergo errands for a quote and Lora was very prompt in an estimate and she found a spot that very week in her schedule to come service my place. The reviews were really well, so I went ahead for it. Lora and her +1 were very prompt and showed up in the window of time they told me.
I have to say I am highly impressed with their work and they both are super cool people. They did an amazing job of not just cleaning but organizing my kitchen (it needed it badly!). I was not expecting that at all.

I never thought I would be the kind of person who hired cleaners. My mother cleaned houses her whole life, and often I was dragged along with her. Therefore I should have inherited her natural cleaning gumption, right?
Wrong. Both my husband and I now have full time work, and though it certainly pays the bills, it doesn’t leave us much time to keep things tidy. So we caved and called Ergo Errands, along with a few other companies. All three companies offered us similar rates, but Lora’s response sounded the friendliest, and she had experience with downtown apartments. Living downtown creates a different kind of mess — we don’t have a sprawling house with loads of rooms, but instead have a one-​bedroom that was (before Lora) cluttered with too much stuff.
It was great to have them come over, because once things were clean, it gave us a better idea of what we didn’t want anymore. We dumped, donated, and sold tons of old stuff after Lora and her crew came by for their first cleaning. We now have them come over once a month, and they do such a great job we’re thinking of moving up to biweekly visits. Cleaning day is literally one of the best days every month: we come home and ta-​da! The cat is happily sitting on the beautifully done bed, the cups have all been stored in the cupboard after a nice wash, and the stray bills have all been nicely stacked in the mail holder.
Even if you aren’t a particularly messy person, it’s convenient to have a regular cleaner. Little corners, and bigger ones like the bathtub and the toilet, steadily get dirtier with use. Counter tops, even when regularly cleared and cleaned, get gunked up in the corners. Fridges get smelly. It’s true, you could do an overhaul and really deep clean your oven and bathroom once and a while, but trust me, it’s a lot easier to do regular maintenance. Nothing ever gets out of control when you have regular cleaners and I am so grateful for the work Lora and her workers have offered us.
They work hard, and I highly recommend them. Try it out, maybe it’ll start a pattern of order in the rest of your life.
