fix is an idea driven interdisciplinary design studio, engaging collaboration, creativity and practical knowledge. Celebrating our 14^th year, fix designs: environments, identity, branding, furniture and fixtures for commercial and residential clients. We welcome inquiries for interesting projects large and small.

Meet the Business Owner

Jennifer J.

Business Owner

Jennifer Jako studied design and fine art at L’Ecole d’Arts Plastiques in Monaco and the Pacific Northwest College of Art in Oregon. Raised abroad, she speaks Spanish, English, French, and Italian. This unique, global perspective is a guiding force in her creative work. She is an avid researcher, finding inspiration in history and context to tell a brand story. Jako studies details and connections. Jako finds that all disciplines are interconnected and draws on her varied background to resolve design opportunities.

She volunteers on the Board of Directors of Cascade AIDS Project. She co-​founded ShowPDX, a biennial regional furniture design exhibit, with Chris Bleiler. When she isn’t free associating with her six year old daughter, her current hobby is designing light fixtures. Jako is a consummate photographer.
