Found on Fremont

This place has the best restored painted furniture. The woman the owns it takes old desk and splits it in two and makes small night stands out of them, so cool! I have a small bungalow so small is exactly what I was looking for. This woman is seriously talented. There are also other vendors upstairs and great stuff up there too!

I love this shop. I enjoy going in every couple of weeks to see what’s new. Things are always changing with lots of new resale furniture. There is plenty of new mixed in with the old. The prices are reasonable and the inventory is really fun, jewelry, pillow covers, lamps, mirrors, refinished furniture and much more.

Love this place! Very friendly and welcoming place. Love going here during the holidays and finding special little gifts. LOVE the pillow cases and prices.

This shop has so much to offer — Lonnie the shop owner has an eye for finding the right old piece and bringing it back to life… the prices are excellant, too.

Found on Fremont is a cute little local/​handmade store with a floor of vintage antiques and items on consignment. Nestled in the center of the cute little neighborhood, Found on Fremont is now on my secret (shh don’t tell anyone) list of my favorite shoppin’ haunts.
The main floor (handmade local items floor) is really a fun experience. Great items and frikkin amazing prices. I’m mad that I’ve ever bought a Christmas present somewhere else, because I’m sure everyone would’ve liked something I got them here better and I would’ve saved myself some dough.
The top floor is reminiscent of many antique/​consignment stores I frequent, but it’s a fun addition.

This is a great spot as it’s in the middle of where a lot of the action is on Fremont.
The owner is full of energy and also makes a lot of the jewelry you will find here.
Definitely a great browser spot for shopping locally for your gifts and goodies.

always packed full of fun vintage (and handmade!) goodies at reasonable prices. i don’t think i’ve ever walked out empty handed, and i never feel like i’ve spent too much. don’t forget to go upstairs!

The bargain hunter in me adores this place — you just never know what you’re going to find on any given day. Over the years, I’ve picked up a cool Dead End sign, a number of gorgeous (and cheap) rings, a coat, a pair of boots, and some house-​type odds and ends. The ever-​changing selection means that you’re likely to find something new every time you go.
The only reason I gave it four stars is because it seems like more and more of the stock is new stuff — cards, trinkets, soap, etc. While I love to shop for those kinds of things, I would rather have this be all used stuff, since I can get the other stuff anywhere…

I popped into this little store to kill some time while waiting for a table at Bumblekiss down the street, and I’m so glad I did! It’s two floors of lovely antiques, new handmade jewelry and the biggest collection of vintage hats I’ve ever encountered! Pillbox hats, cloche hats, lace hats, straw hats, hats with flowers, hats with veils — this is your one-​stop shop for hats! I was in love.
Found has more than just loads of hats, however. Jewelry, clothing, home décor and little tchotchkes like old pill bottles and quirky salt shakers. Prices are generally reasonable, and I had to work very hard to restrain myself from walking out with the entire store. I limited myself to a vintage cocktail ring (a steal at $ 3!) and I’ll definitely be back when I have some cash to burn.

Love the staff, the all the great finds, lots of wonderful gifts, and the prices are outstanding. I am always finding so many great things here and the prices force me to take them home!

This little shop on NE Fremont has more treasures and great buys than you can even believe. I cannot go into this store without leaving with something that makes me feel sooo happy! I’d like to post a picture of the great pitcher I just found at Found on Fremont! It’s a perfectly round pitcher, cut glass with silver handle and spout. OMG! And what a deal I got it for. There was a person holding it, caressing it, looking it over and the minute she set it down I grabbed it! So excited to get this little gem.

My shopping buddy put it best: «This place is like getting to see the best part other people’s awesome homes without dealing with estate sales.» And it’s true. This large shop is packed full of goodies, new stuff mixed in with the best of the best antique-​y stuff, in a well-​organized, more thoughtful environment than most re-​sale shops.
When we first walked in, I had a little déjà vu and the whole time we were perusing both levels of this cheery store I couldn’t help but think I’d been here. It wasn’t until I got home that I remembered the shop Poppy & Ivy on Alberta and realized this must be the same owner, upgraded into a way bigger space.
I scored a super sweet mixed-​pinks clutch with a shiny metal handle ($ 9) before declaring that I am no longer allowed to purchase anymore handbags. I also picked up a lovely, locally made lavender sachet for a gift.
I could easily spend an hour in this store just looking. It’s arranged well, prices are good, and just plain fun. No shopping stroll up Fremont should not include this fantastic store.

As I wander around this place I find myself thinking «why doesn’t anyone ever buy me stuff from here?» Then I remember, someone does… ME! This adorable shop is full of fantastic finds. I regularly hit this place with the intention of buying gifts, but more often than not I leave with stuff for myself. My rationale being «You know who would really appreciate this gorgeous set of vintage high-​balls? Uhhhhhhh, me.» Anyway, they have vintage décor, housewares, some clothing, as well as fantastic handmade cards and other local made items. There’s charming little toys for children. And if you’re a sewer or craft-​y person they have all kinds of buttons, ricrac, and other fun embellishments. Found on Fremont is located in the two-​story shop formerly occupied by Vestiges. I was heartbroken when that closed, so I couldn’t be more thrilled to see a new multi-​dealer shop take it’s place. Honestly if you can’t find something in Found on Fremont, well my friend, you just ain’t lookin’ hard enough.

This is the absolute best vintagy store! Different vendors means lots of different styles of treasures. You will find something you didn’t know you needed and the prices are very resonable. The owners are amazing too. Love the vintage furniture pieces the most I think!

This is one cute store! Amy has an amazing array at vintage finds for fabulous prices (come check out my awesome suitcase…) and the greatest cards. I love her own and the Curly Girl’s.

Her passion for scary estate sales, scrapbooking, and finding that «great deal,» (read: shopping, shopping, shopping) led her do what we all at some point dream of: she quit her job and opened her very own boutique! (She is also enthralled by Breaking Bonduce… which I feel is a detail I just can’t leave out of this review.)
I personally can’t get within 100 feet of estate sales without turning white from utter fear. So much… stuff. Everywhere. It just creeps me out. So now just imagine an estate sale where everything is organized, cute, and affordable! Poppy and Ivy is like an eclectic vintage gifty-​paradise — everywhere you look there is something to pick up and admire! Amy does all the work here, and you just get to reap the benefits of her rummaging.

Poppy & Ivy has fantastic vintage items… lots of fun stuff, featuring, old, new and locally handcrafted/​created. The owner, Amy, is so friendly and helpful, it brightens my day to go in there. Definitely a must stop local shopping destination!
