Description

Specialties

Smack dab in the heart of Beervana, (also known as Portland) our Riverplace brewery is located on the waterfront. You can catch a glimpse of our Riverplace Brewery in action through the wall of glass at McCormick & Schmicks’s Harborside Restaurant.

This pint-sized brewhouse serves as our research and development center and is where the small batch Brewmaster Reserve and Brewer’s Share beers are concocted by Brewmaster John Harris and the Full Sail crew. You can sample our entire line of award winning brews next door.

Sorry, due to the brew schedule and limited space at Riverplace, brewery tours are only available at our main Brewery in Hood River.

History

Established in 1987.

At this very moment 47 specialists in the liquid refreshment arts are crafting barley and hops into your next beer. Among the company’s most popular brews are Full Sail Amber, IPA, Pale, LTD, Session and Session Black Premium lager. Founded in 1987 at the forefront of the craft brewing renaissance, the Full Sail crew has been fermenting godlike nectar for 24 years. Committed to brewing great beer and sustainable practices their award winning brews are now available in 28 states.

Full Sail Brewing Company is based out of Hood River, Oregon, where you can find the main brewery, tasting room and pub.

Meet the Business Owner

The Full Sail Crew O.

Business Owner

The reason we started Full Sail in the first place was to build a company that was completely different from the ones where we’d previously worked. It wasn’t about business as usual. It was about finding our calling in life — about truly appreciating our «human resources,» and balancing work, life, family and friends in a way that makes life truly worth living.

It was in that spirit that we became an independent, employee-owned company in 1999, divvying up the company between the 47 of us. Of all our accomplishments, this is the one that makes us most proud.
