Gilbertson Machine Shop

I came here with a custom metal job for a bookshelf project that I needed done and I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Gilbertson who after discussing my design knew exactly what I wanted but noted that it would be a much more economical to do it at a press shop, since his shop did not have the tool he needed to do the job in the most efficient manner. He helped me refine the design and provided a side projection to allow a fabrication shop he recommended and works with to build the design I wanted. If they ended up being the same price he told me he’d be glad to do it. I ended up saving a lot of money and ended up getting the brackets I wanted made.
Even though it wasn’t directly thought him, I felt compelled to write Mr. Gilbertson a review since it is not everyday you have someone who is honest and interested in helping you get the highest quality work for the best price. I was impressed that he took the time to review my design and notify me that there would be places that could get it done cheaper. I want to let the world know such an amazing man exists!
