Green & Clean Moss Removal

Found Green & clean on Angie’s List, contacted them regarding their Aeration package. Made the appointment for early AM, they arrived promptly. Spoke to the gentlemen about their service and the areas I wanted aerated and they went to work. The whole process (which included aeration, fertilization, lime and over seeding) took approx. 45 minutes, they were helpful and were able to do all the areas I requested.
Not sure if my lawn will cooperate (it was in real bad shape) of course I would have the service days before a heat wave in Portland, Oregon in early June. But this is not because Green & Clean did not do their job, look forward to possibly working with them to maintain my yard.

Our contractor friend Scott Wacker recommended Green and Clean so we had them give us a bid. We were happy with the cost and scheduled the work. They were amazing. They did the pre-​treat and then called a few days ahead to schedule the cleaning. The crew arrived and spent the better part of the day cleaning our roof. We had some nesting turtle doves and they took great care to keep the momma on the nest. Our roof looks amazing. It hadn’t been cleaned for 12 years. I’d recommend Green and Clean for any roof. There process is gentle to the roof and the company was very professional!!! Love them. As I sat on the deck looking up to our roof o told my husband «my god our roof looks amazing». Call them. They do great work.

We moved into a very wooded neighborhood near Multnomah Village. This means lots of moss on everything. We were gifted a moss removal by another company, but after two treatments (we are doubtful they did anything) nothing had happened, so we arranged for the gifter to get a refund. But moss is worrisome, it can actually destroy your roof, so I went searching on Angie’s list and found Green & Clean. They came out and gave us an estimate right away, which we approved. Within a day, we could see the moss beginning to die. A little over a week later the crew came out and finished the job. Not a speck of moss is left. We appreciated the courtesy and professionalism of the crew. We would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

What a great company. I was one of those that got sucked into the Groupon deal with some other discount company whose only solution was to pressure wash the roof (which takes care of moss but also takes about 10 years of life of the roof — no thanks!). I turned them away and would not let them on the roof as their discounted fee would cost me dearly. So after careful research I came across Green & Clean and am so thrilled I did. I have chickens & a dog and did not want harsh chemicals that could hurt my pets and Green & Clean uses none of those so they hit that check box. I did not want a company that pressure washed roof — Green and clean hit that Check box. I wanted someone would do what they said they would, show up when they said they would, and They definitely hit that checkbox! Throughout the process, JD had refreshingly great communication and kept me updated (without pestering me with too many calls) and worked around my schedule and a vacation we had planned. The job they did was to perfection. I had let my roof build up a reasonable amount of moss and now it almost looks brand new. I feel like i just added 10+ years of life to the roof. They also did a tremendous job of clean up and not disturbing any of our garden area. JD & his crew were simply top knotch and i would use them again in a heart beat. I am a high volume real estate agent and Green & Clean will be my go to company for moss removal going forward. We hired Green and Clean to aerate, thatch, and reseed our lawn. We had huge bald spots under our trees and loads of moss in other areas. We were very impressed with everything they did. They were hard workers, friendly, and timely. Their bid was fair and they worked us into their schedule quickly. We have signed up for a «package that will put us on regular fertilizing and demossing. We are looking forward to a new green lawn and with no effort from us besides writing a check.

JD and his crew cleaning my moss off roof and did a great job. I received a couple other bids for contractors that wanted to pressure wash the roof. But, I am glad I didn’t go with them. Green & Clean’s approach was all eco-​friendly and I will get much more life out of my roof. I am looking forward to them coming back in the spring, to removal the moss from my lawn.

Let’s just say that I am no longer green with envy over my neighbor’s super-​clean roof. Green & Clean came out and treated my roof, cleaned up all the moss and even took care of the little shed out back. They treated my concrete and deck as well. They even cleaned up after themselves when they were done. Highly recommended!
