History

Established in 2000.

After studying landscape horticulture at North Carolina State, and apprenticing with a very talented Landscape Architect, I ventured out West where I knew there were like minded people. I have successfully run a Landscape Design/​build business in Oregon and decided that the plants that I appreciate most thrive in Southern California. I have honed my passion for plants and enjoy creating sanctuaries for others at home or at their place of business. Plants can reduce stress, improve air quality drastically, and add a touch of personality to any space.

Business Owner

Growing up in rural Pennsylvania gave me an appreciation for the great outdoors. After studying Landscape Horticulture at North Carolina State, I worked with a very talented Landscape Architect for seven years where I honed my landscaping skills and developed my passion for plants. After moving to Oregon in 2000, I successfully operated a landscape design/​build business while also working at Monrovia Nursery. In 2012, I accepted a job offer with HGTV’s Jamie Durie from the Outdoor Room and landed in Los Angeles. Here I continue to develop my love and passion for plants as the season offers a year round experience.
