Greenleaf Juicing Company

We were excited for some yummy soup. Soon after we ordered we noticed food being handled by employees after handling cash without washing their hands or wearing gloves. The final straw was when the avocado for our soup was scraped out of its skin by bear hands and fingernails. We left, little grossed out, little disappointed. I know we are on Portland, but that was even a little too weird (gross) for us.

Greenleaf juices oh how do I miss thee. After moving back to NJ from Portland organic cold press juice is TRULY hard to find. I have to drive at least half an hour to find anything that meets my expectations.
This leaves me pining for the days when I could just drive up the street to the little green leaf shack, be greeted by some funky music and smiling handsome men and order the most delicious juice I’ve ever had.
Seriously, everything I have had at Greenleaf has been delicious, but remember it’s all about your personal taste. The signature drink, Greenleaf, is my fav. Their Cashew milk is addicting. I’ve also tried a 3 day cleanse. They had it ready for me to go every morning (SW waterfront location) and I felt full all day… okay except the third day. That day I caved in :)
Oh and the price? Simply amazing. I bought a juice daily for about $ 6? Replaced my coffee habit with something more worth my money.

I got the wondrous punch and it is DELISH. Simple, kind, and quick service! Their cups are also Ecofreindly so they’re compostable — which I LOVE?!

I love the idea of a convenient little juice kiosk! I love the fun tip jars even more!
I was feeling somewhat «clogged» after the holiday eat-​a-​thon and needed something to get things moving along again.
While the concept and location of the kiosk are great and the service very personable, I can’t say I’m a fan of the smoothies/​juices themselves.
Coming from Los Angeles, where juiceries are a dime a dozen, I’ve had some pretty awesome concoctions. Unfortunately, Greenleaf’s mixes were just alright.
I had the Green Solution, which was fine, but the boyfriend’s G8 was way too watery. He couldn’t even finish it. My son really liked his Classic, but then again who can really screw up a fruit mix like that?
Will return to try something else.

Greenleaf makes great juice. Juice in juice form, juice in smoothie form, and, well, that’s what I want. Add in the convenience of this outpost to 23^rd, and it’s a win.
My favorite juice here is the Zest in Show, not just because of the spectacular name, but also because it’s unique and delicious. They use actual orange rind in the juice to give it a nice bitter citrus spark. Reminds me of drinking a healthy version of a campari and soda… despite the bright green hue. Other faves include the greenleaf, the sweetleaf and the brown out (can’t recall if they have that particular drink here, but they have it down at the 11^th location in the Pearl.
We stopped by this location on an off day, so experienced no waiting in line, no hassles, and quick service. Which is exactly what I want from a kiosk.

Love Greenleaf! The cart is friendly and quick. One request if they read these, I wish the «on break» signs show what time the person will return so we knew (when in a hurry) if we had time to wait or not. (Maybe this has changed recently, not sure!)

The dude at the cart was making two drinks for the person ahead of me. I waited for 20 minutes, my entire lunch break, for home to finish two drinks before walking away. He STILL HADNT FINISHED THE TWO DRINKS AHEAD OF ME. He was really sassy and said «ok, well sorry, it’s a one man show». I work as a barista, by myself most of the time and can move 10 times faster. Fire that dude, bad customer service and laziness are a pet peeve.

Love Shack, Baby! I had the green lemonade — tasty! The service was okay… I think he was annoyed that I was making small talk with the centrifuge running at top speed but even after, he seemed like he could care very little… in all his hipster“ness”. LOL.

I go here all the time, and just love the service and the juice! The green lemonade is my personal favorite and I would get one everyday if I could. Would love to see one on the east side!

This cart is just great! They make really good green juices and smoothies– one of my favorites is avocado dreamin. They’re very accommodating with substitutions or additions, sometimes I’m just not feeling a whole lot of ginger.
And their juicers are super friendly. I moved away all winter and I recently wandered back to their cart to get a juice and they were like «Hey! Where did you go? Welcome back!» and I’m not a regular– my juice cart attendance is sporadic at best.

I’ve been here twice now and both times there is a sign that reads back in 10 minutes and both times I’ve waited 10 minutes with no success at anyone returning. I hope to try the juice one day. Sorry for the negative rating but I don’t know what’s up with this.

Lots of different combinations juices and smoothies to fit your taste buds. The staff are extremely friendly and very helpful with helping you which drink to decide. They also have Belly rewards which is a great way to score points & earn free things.
I am definitely glad that I found this place as I will continue to return.

Greenleaf has delicious, organic fruit and veggie juices. I agree that it would be hard to afford these on a regular basis as they are $ 5.95 each.

There really is not much to add, except with the multitude of juice companies and juices in our grocery stores, Green Leaf has NOTHING to hide — It’s the real deal.
I make my own organic juice every morning using a mastricating juicer; yet, every once in a while, after returning home from a business trip, or that morning when I am out of fruits and vegetables, I walk to Green Leaf and I have never been disappointed. With so many ingredients one cannot pronounce and GMO food products inside almost every non-​organic item, I love how Green Leaf is the real deal.
One places their order at the counter and can watch the person behind the counter bring out the fruits and vegetables for the juice. They then juice each item, and your drink is made.
One will feel refreshed and energized, ready to start or continue with his or her day, all while being fulfilled by the nutrients from fresh, local, organic produce.
They say, an apple a day, keeps the doctor away. I say, an organic fresh pressed juice a day keeps the doctor away.

Really really good smoothies! No artificial anything and tastes like candy-​and all it is is fresh fruit! Great customer service as well! Only negative is it would be hard to afford these on a regular basis as they are $ 5.95 each.

There’s a reason this place has so many stellar reviews. Greenleaf Juicing Company is becoming an incredibly successful new juicing company– and I love it!
I was searching for this little stand for a while and was so happy when I tasted the awesomeness that is Greenleaf. I fell in love with this kale/​banana smoothie– something I’ve never seen at any other juice bar in town.
The guy working at the stand was very nice, and an expert juicer :) This place also has affordable juice that will not make my wallet break down and cry.
I will be coming back here, multiple times.

LOVE, love, and more LOVE this place. Sometimes there is a longer wait due to the fact that there is only one person in this cart, but its worth the wait. I’m sad it’s been closed for a little bit due to maintenance, but I look forward to going there soon.
If you are walking around 23^rd take advantage of the good prices and green juices. You’ll feel better plus your wallet won’t be sad. :)

Heaven in a bottle! I started a three day cleanse today, and I can’t believe how much energy I have. The juices are delicious, and my energy is through the roof. I am so glad to have this company in my neighborhood.
In addition to the juices I’ve had today on the cleanse, I’ve tried Green Lemonade which made my mouth sing. ;-)

This place is rad. It’s basically just a little storefront with a big menu on the wall, a counter, and a huge juicer. They juice fast here, too; when I juice at home, it takes at least 20 minutes of prepping the fruits and vegetables, juicing, and cleaning the juicer. When I order a juice at Greefleaf, it takes like 2 minutes. I don’t know how they do it, but I’m more than happy to shell out 6 bucks for a delicious nutrient slam to my body.
The combinations Greenleaf have are really good, too. Some are typical combinations, like their signature one called The Greenleaf: Green apple, lime, ginger, spinach, kale, parsley, cucumber, and celery. (It’s good! I hope I don’t have to tell you in 2012 that juicing vegetables actually tastes good; if you haven’t tried it yet, do it, soon).
They have a spicy one called The Spicyleaf: Jalapeño, green pepper, spinach, kale, parsley, cucumber, celery and green apple. This one is wicked spicy – like, really spicy, but fun. You can also add jalapeño to any other juice if you’re feelin’ saucy.
I’ve also tried The Morning After (Strawberry, kiwi, carrot, beet, kale, celery, and wheatgrass.) and one with strawberries and tomatoes that was surprisingly good.
I love having this option close to my work; when I’m starving and need a little pick-​me-​up, or when I’ve carbo-​loaded (often) and need a dose of good old-​fashioned fruits and veggies, I love that I can come here. This place is so rad.

For years I’ve been wanting a fresh juice bar that would give me more than just apples and oranges. I must have got some good karma from struggling to to make my own fresh juices and not going on a murderous, pulp-​speckled rampage because now Greenleaf Juicing Company has opened up shop right next to my office! There is a wide selection of juices and smoothies and I really want to try them all! The first one I had was the Sweetleaf and it was fantastic. I was full of good energy for the rest of the work day. I’m really excited about the G8, which is tomato, celery, carrot, red pepper, beets, parsley, spinach, and jalapeño (I love V8 except for the sodium). I know I will go back every day, which will put quite a dent in my wallet as these juices are $ 5.95. But they are all organic, so, in my opinion, they are totally worth it. And the service was fantastic too!

Tried the G8 and it was glorious! A little sweet with a spicy jalapeño kick at the end! Love this place!
