Our Principal Broker, John Hatch along with his wife Melody have built a strong team based on thier extensive real estate expertise, coupled with over 30 years of sales and marketing experience and highlighted by an extensive business background. Michele DesCombes was fantastic to work with. She was always willing to do whatever was needed to make sure that my buying experience was the best. I have to say that I wanted to buy a home for quite some time but was dreading the process of purchasing due to the typical horror stories of buyer’s remorse, bad contracts, funding failing to come through, etc. Michele helped guide me through the entire process. I started the process NOT prepared as I hadn’t had a chance to do my research yet (loans, all of the costs associated, fees, just how the process works from beginning to end in general)…though, the perfect home for me came up and Michele wasted no time and jumped on it for me. Needless to say, I now own that home and Michele helped me in every aspect of purchasing it. I not only have my agent that I will have for the future, I made a friend that I trust as well. I HIGHLY recommend Michele! If you want someone that knows the business and is willing to negotiate and represent you and your best interests, then you should call her. I did; and I am super glad that I did.

I worked with Angela Stevens several years ago when I purchased my first home. I had a small budget and a pretty specific idea of what I was looking for. I was also working with the Portland Housing Center and had some extra hurdles to pass before purchasing my home. Angela was very patient throughout the process, sending me daily listings and driving all over the city to find the perfect fit. I really appreciated her patience, positive attitude, and exceptional communication skills. She genuinely loves her job, and helping people find their new home! John and Melody Hatch were also very helpful throughout the process. I don’t know what I would have done if I didn’t have such a great team answering all my questions and walking me through such a major purchase. Thank you Hatch Homes!

Clare was such a pleasure to work with! She took a huge amount of stress out of the home buying process and made it fun, which was quite an undertaking given the listings that were available at the time. My boyfriend and I were not entirely sure what we were looking for in a home (it was our first), but Clare was extremely patient with us and made sure we didn’t get overwhelmed and weren’t getting in over our heads. She listened to us as we (very) gradually narrowed down the things we wanted (and most definitely did not want) in a house and made adjustments to our viewings accordingly so we did not feel like we were wasting our time. Any time we had a question or concern, she was available to put our minds to rest and put things in perspective. She was also instrumental in helping us through the tedious, often frustrating task of working with the bank and getting our loan processed and finalized — she really went to bat for us a few times during closing and we will always appreciate that support. We ended up finding a home that we really love, and are in the process of making it our own — thanks so much Clare!

My husband and I live in New York and after working with Angela for 7 months we finally found exactly what we were looking for and inside of our budget. Because we were unable to physically view properties, Angela did everything that she could to get us all the information that we needed. This included taking videos of each of the properties we were interested in, scheduling friends and family to check out the property on our behalf, and making repeated visits to the property to answer any latent questions that needed addressing.
I’ve worked with several real estate agents in the past and would say that Angela was by far the most receptive and responsive to any feedback that we gave her. From the very beginning she sent us listings that were targeted specifically towards the specifications we had given her. As time passed, and our criteria changed, Angela easily adapted the listings that she was sending us. If she did send us listings that we were not interested in, she was always sure to get our feedback and she clearly used that feedback to further refine what she sent.
During our search, we made offers on three or four different properties and felt like the advice that Angela gave us for each one was really appropriate. We also found that her personal experience with investment properties was very helpful. We can’t thank Angela enough for her diligence, patience, and persistence during our search as well as during our closing processes.
