We specialize in energy system for both residential and commercial customers. We are a leading Solar Electric (PV) installer in the Northwest, having helped pioneer programs such as Solarize Portland. We also specialize in installing Solar Hot Water systems. We have a full HVAC shop, capable of designing and installing systems from traditional Furnaces and Heat-​Pumps, to Ground-​Source Heat-​Pumps and Hydronic Radiant systems. We also do Home Performance testing and currently are a contractor in the Clean Energy Works of Oregon program, which we have been with since it’s pilot phase in Portland.

History

Established in 2003.

Imagine Energy was started in 2003 by Jonathan Cohen with the vision to help people change the way they view and use energy. He laid the foundation for Imagine Energy by combining a unique engineering perspective with a philanthropic view. By provided customers ‘solutions’ instead of products, we have been able to provide a unique experience.

Business Owner

Jonathan Cohen has his roots in Pennsylvania, but his heart in Portland. He graduated from Penn State with a degree in Aeronautical Engineering, and has experience in semi conductors and wind turbines.
