In Motion Dance & Movement Studio focuses on building strong technical dancers. Instructors at In Motion focus on the anatomy of individual dancers to help build the technique and training they need to succeed in the dance community. Starting with a strong foundation in Ballet and Modern, In Motion offers a variety of classes to fit each individuals needs!

Meet the Business Owner

Karissa D.

Business Owner

Karissa was born and raised in Portland OR. She began her dance career at a very young age. She graduated from Western Oregon University with a BA in Dance and came back to Portland and began teaching while working with Kinetic Images, a modern dance company. Most recently Karissa has had the pleasure of studying with Paul Taylor in New York City. Current Member of Agnieszka Laska Dancers, Karissa is thrilled to bring joy to the community through Dance.
