Jazz It-​Up Productions does an A+ job at making sure you have the time of your life at your event.

We make sure that with every event we perform at we bring class and leave the cheese to other DJ companies. We have a team of great DJs ready to serve you with your requests, wireless microphones and all digital sound systems. We specialize in being the only DJ company that has matching sound systems for each and every DJ. This is huge. Some DJ companies have to wire up every part of their sound system upon arrival. This takes time and looks horrible. We have every piece of equipment pre installed in custom cases that are high class and attractive. With the twist of a few European cords we are up and running every time. Because we take matching sound systems there is no one DJ that takes the ‘cool’ system or the ‘best’ system as is the case with many companies.

History

Established in 1990.

Jazz It-​Up Productions was started out of a need to move forward with technology and get rid of the DJs still using turntables and CD players. We were among the first in the NW to operate completely on a computer system at every show. The price of each of our systems complete with wireless lighting systems runs in the thousands and we have six systems. We started with one system performing events one at a time. That soon grew to eight. A need for better customer service was lagging in many DJ company’s so we put together our all new customer service team. These are the people you talk to when reserving and booking your event date. We make sure that everything is correct for the DJs that come out to the events.

Prior to starting Jazz It-​Up Productions our current owner owned one of the first DJ company’s in Portland «Cadillac Music». Now gone this company was strong at a time when DJs were still very new as in mobile.

Business Owner

Aaron has been in the sound and DJ industry for most of his life. Starting the knowledge of sound early in middle school his schooling continued into college for radio broadcasting. On the air for a few years he started Jazz It-​Up Productions and then merged with a well known company called Cadillac Music. This lasted about four years and Aaron separated because the need for professionalism was lacking in our industry. Aaron enjoys so many things like old movies and television programs.
