JohnnyFit Bootcamp & Yoga

In a word– awesome!
JohnnyFit provides a really thorough workout. I was a member for nearly a year, and this is by far the best bit of money I’ve spent on my health and fitness. The classes were really well thought of– I’m really not the fittest or the bulkiest person out there yet I managed to get a good workout without too much trouble.
What helps the most is the really flexible timings (classes almost through the day), focus on different workouts per day and the small-​sized classes. The class size was crucial since I always got attention whenever I needed it.
About Johnny and the other trainers (I worked with Johnny, Mary and Danny): They’re about the nicest people you’d hope to meet. Very down-​to-​earth, helpful and professionals.
Keep it up! Should I ever move back to Portland, I know where I’m going for my bootcamp workout.

Johnny Fit gets results! My girlfriend and I are both members and have gotten into great shape attending Johnny Fit’s bootcamp classes. Classes are designed so anyone — young or old, beginner or super fit — can exercise and workout at their own personal level. Besides getting you into shape the classes are a lot of fun. Johnny Fit is actually one of our favorite things about living in the Forest Heights area — it’s enabled us to meet a lot of our neighbors and to make some new friends. And to top it off, Johnny and his staff are great people who do everything they can to help their members.

I’ve been working out with Johnny for almost a year and a half now, so I guess it’s about time I write a review :). Johnny always comes through with challenging, fun workouts that can be modified to any fitness level. The rotation of focuses and constant addition of new exercises keeps things interesting, so that it never feels like the same old workout. Johnny has done a fabulous job of revitalizing this gym and keeping it around as our friendly neighborhood fitness center. At this point, I’m totally addicted to my workouts and don’t know how I ever functioned without them!

Nothing much gets me to exercise before noon any day of the week (and I do love my workout time). Going to JohnnyFit changed that — so much so that I regularly attend the 6:30 am class! I have yet to be disappointed in any class and I am very particular about my workouts and whether I am spending my workout time wisely. Each of his instructors is highly knowledgeable and motivational. I leave each class invigorated and looking forward to the next one. I have never been stronger in my life. I highly recommend this gym whether you are looking to get fit, lose weight or just get a good workout.

I love this place! I love the 5:30 am class that so many other studios lack. It is perfect to come in, get it done and be off to work with a strong start. Johnny not only has the knowledge to give you a great workout, but his warmth makes it welcoming for all regardless of fitness level. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Great workout! They offer early morning classes and throughout the day into the evening. Comfortable environment, not a meat head gym. It is small, clean, and great location.

I recently got to experience Johnny’s yoga class in his newly renovated Bootcamp and Yoga Studio in Forest Heights. Not only is Johnny an amazing human being with the highest of integrity, motivation and drive, he is also an inspirational yoga teacher with challenging + creative sequencing. Something about his presence, something in his being, just encourages you to offer your very best! And, his music playlists are awesome. No matter the activity — yoga or bootcamp — you can look forward to time spent working out with JohnnyFit!
