The atmosphere was alright, it’d probably be great in the summer outside. The food was fine, how can you go wrong with cheese melted in bread. The thing that brings down the stars was the service. I felt like the entire time they just wanted us to leave and they were not busy, maybe 10 people at the most and we were away in the back so we weren’t disturbing anyone. Then I left earlier than my friends and the main guy for the night acted like I was the worst person for wanting to pay for my stuff before everyone else was done. I told him I could tell him everything that was on my tab without looking, still an a-hole. I think the most annoying part of this is that I had started my tab separate, they were the ones that added us all together, we didn’t ask for it to be on one tab. So all in all, medicore place with grumpy servers.

Happy hour menu and drinks are the best! The Brie cheese and salami plate is such a bargain during happy hour. The alcoholic beverage menu isn’t expansive but what they do offer is quality. The staff was also very friendly amidst the craziness of the hour. It’s no wonder this place is highly recommended by people who frequent the village.

Good beer selection and cozy atmosphere but that’s about it. Didn’t try the grilled cheese bites and I feel like that was a mistake. Otherwise the food was overpriced and not that great. Unfortunately it hasn’t been my only food disappointment since we moved to the SW. Maybe I’ll give it another try, maybe not.

This has been our go to local spot for about 3 years now! The environment is cozy and the front lawn in the summer is very peaceful. There’s always a great food/wine/beer selection and friendly staff!

4 stars for food quality and drink selection 3.5 stars for service. Its a seat yourself situation and it took a while for anyone to come take our order, but when they did our server was very friendly. Our food was delicious and the drink selection is great. The outdoor seating situation is great too for a nice day!

Super nice great drinks and salad but why is it closed on a Sunday? It’s such a good location but would need to be open for those lazy Sunday afternoons… Otherwise great though.

An excellent spot for Bites and Drinks. No mixed drinks, just bottled ciders, brews, and wines. Awesome outdoor atomosphere. Stopped in after a long day of Hiking and snagged a spot outside near the wood-burning fire. Settled down with their most popular cider(Crispin Blackberry Pear) and ordered some Homer Grilled Cheese Bites(Big & Crusty). Hit the spot. Will definitely be returning if I need to unwind anytime soon.

Had Shilling’s(?) chai cider(delicious) + a few tasty apps. Great portions, decent price. For being happy hour, couldn’t believe they only had one girl at the bar, taking food orders and pouring drinks. She was great, but they were a bit understaffed. Cute outdoor seating area and bonfire :)

Fantastic selection, great atmosphere and cool people/staff. Great walkable location, and social lawn for lounging on sunny days. 5 stars all day.

Went here last night with a group of friends and was taken aback by how adorable this place is! Most of us ate one of the grilled cheese options, which were tasty, but the bread was slightly burnt? Beers and ciders were good. Adding a full bar wouldn’t hurt! The server was sweet and was unbothered when we asked for separate checks. Had a great experience here overall!

Love this place food is amazing! Outdoor seating is perfect when it’s not raining. One thing I would ask them to change is to add non alcoholic beverages besides the self serve water tank. I appreciate their beer and wine options but not everyone is able/should drink alcohol. Iced tea or a apple cider would be a great addition. I usually order a salad and grilled cheese bites. Be careful of the fuego bites they are hot hot hot!

I hate to write a negative review for this place because they have great food, and I can tell when they are at their best they are really good. Unfortunately, we went there on a not so good night. The good was good, but they were extremely under-staffed. It took forever to get any service. The servers were nice, but clearly overwhelmed. At the end of the meal they gave us the wrong check twice, but after waiting 15 minutes or more between checks, we finally just paid and left, even though it wasn’t the right bill. We spent 2.5 hours there for just one course.

I liked this place. Nice up on the hill there off the sidewalk. Roomy patio and indoor, and I liked the grilled cheese bites and the Meditteranean plate. Lots of veggies! :) The wine was pretty decent too. I was pleased. I’d definitely come here again. Oh, and the waitress was very friendly and nice as well. :)

It’s cute, that’s for sure. Right in front of me stands a book shelf with board games. Comfy little house with good customer service. I just have to knock two stars off for the lack of whiskey and somewhat over priced happy hour items.

Nice spot tucked in Multnomah village, but sat outside and they refused to serve us wine in wine glasses. Really?!? Were served in water glasses. Food was decent, nothing spectacular. Overall ok for an area that is starved for some decent restaurants.

While Journeys has great happy hour food, especially their grilled cheese bites, I’m not so impressed by their beer selection. Not only do they only have 6 or 7 beers on tap, but they only feature two of those beers for their happy hour selection, which tends to be quite limiting. It seems like a lot of the people who come here are drinking beer, so it surprises me that they have such a small selection. I’d suggest expanding the number of taps since it seems to be such a big part of their business. The service has usually been decent and the food is certainly better than your average bar fare. Great outdoor seating for the warmer months.

Nice little neighborhood bar tucked away in Multnomah Village. They have several nice wines available and and plenty of beers on tap. The place isn’t super huge inside — small back room, bar seating, and a few tables up front, but they do have a great patio area during the summer months. Staff is great and parking is never too bad even on the weekends. Pricing is average of any bar. My only disappointment was when I went to order food. I enjoyed some of the apps had a large and small option. I opted for a small hummus. For $ 4.50 I got some hummus with feta, a few olives, and store bought pita slices. I looked alright until I tasted it. Assuming this was homemade hummus… props to that, but I’m pretty sure it was just ground up chickpea. No seasoning, no garlic, no nothing. Literally no flavor. I thought maybe it was just me, but everyone else agreed it was off. Oh well. I would still recommend this place for drinks though if you’re in the area.

A great perch in the summer. They open at 4pm. Who can resist sitting in those adirondack chairs looking out onto Capitol Hwy. Service — tops Wine/Beer selection –Rotating and unique. They will offer special beers on Happy Hour. Wine always seems to be a dollar off at Happy Hour. Staff is knowledgeable on their products. Small bites are perfect to share. I have never had a full on entrée Dogs welcome

Fun Beer Selection. Great Summer Patio to sit and Chill with your people. By far it’s best attraction is it’s excellent location in the middle of Multnomah Village. The Villagers are the best!!!
