Love the drinks (chai + coffee) & pastries at this cute little café downtown. I also think the ambiance inside is just wonderful. I heard they may start staying open later in the evening, that will be really cool too for days when I want to work later in the evening.

Popped in with the kids to escape the drizzle — wonderful to see great priced dumplings in this fun little place. Deserves to be much busier; glad that it wasn’t.

My partner and I have been meaning to come here for some time now and never made it until today. The food is very affordable, quick, and tasty. The owner is very friendly as well. Space is quiet and tucked away right off of 10th and Yamhill.

This is some of the best food I’ve had in Portland, tucked away in a little building across from the Library on Yamhill. Try the dal bhat (brown rice, yellow lentils, and a little dollop of greens) or the combo (dal bhat plate plus dumplings, with fantastic sauces) – and wonderful Nossa Familia coffee. Several restaurants have come and gone at this spot – hope this one stays.

Went in for quick coffee and was pleasantly surprised that they serve great food for a cheap price. I got the Dahl and rice with chicken, and was blown away. The coffee was very good as well. If you want to get high quality food or coffee for a good price, go to karma. I’m excited to try some of the pastries that they make next time I stop in!

Comfort food of dumplings and tomato/​peanut sauce with a salad and the curried lentils with brown rice and vegetables dishes are both delicious and healthy. The salads come with strawberries and walnuts. They are very fresh, tasty and have nice texture with homemade dressing. The lavender French macaroon is the great!
