Kit Kat Club

Is this my favorite place to get a beer ever? Yes! They have a solid beer selection and very fast service.
I can’t say enough about how awesome this place is. The door guys are always kind and crack jokes. Door charge is I think a buck, but when I used my military ID before my husband’s retirement, he thanked me and my family for our service and told me I could go in as there was no charge. To sit at the stage, it is $ 1 per song… But seriously… The performers here can just have all the cash I have on hand anytime. They’re amazing. So talented, so nice and let’s be honest, some of the best tattoos you’ll ever see. The girls are just awesome. The MC’s are always a kick and make you laugh.
If you visit any of the clubs in Portland, this is #1 on my list.

First time in Oregon and happened to walk in this place, not what I expected it to be but definitely a good time.

Amazing talent here. Everyone very unique and different. Those ladies have some super human powers that I haven’t seen at other clubs. I highly recommend if you are looking for great entertainment. Good place for groups.

Came here for the first time with some out of town friends, and on a slow Thursday night, as ladies willing to tip, we got lots of attention at the the stage. The girls were beautiful, nice, and phenomenal at their jobs. Would definitely return the next time I’m in Portland.

After spending plenty of money in tips and drinks, we were asked to move tables very rudely by management because we were two persons taking up booth space. We should have been told not to sit there when we arrived and there were still other tables available. The women were great though — very strong and talented. Lots of natural bodies and tattoos.

Sasha Meow was absolutely fantastic! She gave a great private dance for my boyfriend. She made me feel so comfortable. She has a great body, cute personality, and she really knew what she was doing! Will go back for her. The club is right next to voodoo doughnuts!

Cool club. Love the digs. We had fun until one of the dancers at the stage we were at signaled a bouncer that we weren’t tipping enough. Even though we’d been tipping VERY WELL. So tough guy came over and told us we needed to tip more even though we HAD been. HAHAHA ok. I think the dancer didn’t like us because we were all better looking and more talented than her. I digress. So we decided to peel out of there. And the fat wad of $ 1’s we got just prior to this incident stayed in the pocket and will gladly be used at Sassy’s tonight! Have fun but watch out for ass hats :-)

A very tense and up tight staff with a «chip on everyone’s shoulder» type atmosphere all around. No wonder everyone calls it the «Kit Kattitude club» or «Kit Crap Club» and never go back. The security/​Bouncers are all very inexperienced and unprofessional and have little sense of reality at all and just puppets for the dancers. Decent dancers’ acts but nothing you can’t find at the so many other, less hostile and talent filled strip clubs. I watched two guys and a tiny girl get aggressively thrown out of the club (on a slow Wednesday) and two dancers even rolled their eyes in disgust. It’s a fairly new club and definitely has a lot more maturing to do to catch up with portland’s more seasoned and legit clubs.

It is a decent bar, interesting and different, the girls all did decent stage dances. But security and management is a nightmare. They are aggressive, rude, and have no sense of customer service at all. I was not drinking that night (I was DD) but I was tipping the girls. I was changing a $ 5 for $ 1’s with my friend sitting next to me, so I could keep tipping and suddenly the bouncer threw me out, saying that I had put he $ 5 down and picked it back up and that was against policy. He physically lifted me out of my seat and man-​handled me out the door, like I had groped one of the girls or started a fight.
Amateur hour, man. Looking at other reviews, this seems to be a common theme for the low star ratings.

Walked into this club feeling a bit jaded because the interior was NOT what I expected. Upon first approach, Kit Kat gives up a ‘hole in the wall’ appearance since it’s located in a somewhat sketchy plaza. But, lo and behold, walk in to view a spacious and swanky club with low lighting that gives off a sultry and sexy appeal. We purchased our drinks at the bar and sat at a round table a little ways away from the racks. This is no ordinary strip club because the girls here possess extraordinary talent and come into work with the ultimate goal of providing the best entertainment possible. There were three girls on the night I went and I can say I was easily WOW-​ed and mesmerized by them all. Each dancer had their own personality and flair. They also put so much effort into each of their routines and made sure to work that pole like the true dancers they were. My goodness, I was completely captivated by the asian girls’ performance to Banks’ ‘Waiting Game’. I have flash backs to this day. ;)
All in all, classy strip club with beyond talented ladies. If I’m ever in Portland again, I’ll be sure to hit this club up again, but hopefully on a weekend (since it was dead on a Monday night).

Entertaining for sure! The girls here really put thought into their routines.
Didn’t like how they came around with a bucket when I first sat down though. I spend lots of money on girls when I sit at the rack so that seemed pushy to me.

Overall I’ll start by saying this place exceeded my expectations.
Me and my fiancé had gone out last evening looking to hit a pub crawl. We ended up here at the start of our evening and cover was only a dollar. Being in the heart of Portland it should be no surprise the place was relatively full. As soon as I came in the door we ran into a beautiful girl in stilts with a a cute and inviting attitude that made us feel at ease. Drinks hadn’t been all that stiff for what I paid to drink but in the same respect I was a bit back off the three that I had. The talent was lovely and they have three stages with fifteen girls in house on a Saturday night. We only sat at one and the girls there were fun and engaging. We plan to run it back again tonight. Worth your time and money.

As a group of 6. We walk in and take a booth where only half the group can see then nearest pole dance. Before we have sat down a girl with a bucket comes by asks for dancer tips, we give 4 bucks. I go to their atm to find a angry guy in a suit tell me its broken, nearest dollar options are around the corner. I get back to the table to get a tally of money group wise and the angry suit guy and bucket girl come up then Demand 12 dollars, 2 per person.
This was within 2 songs, So we leave. the vibe is they didn’t want us there even if we paid.

I’ve never seen a strip club with so many friendly and diverse people with such talent willing to completely take their clothes off and ballet dance on the floor. Cheers to you Portland for treating your strippers with dignity.

I’ve lived in this city for over a year and a half now and for whatever reason I hadn’t been to a strip club in all that time. I’ve been to my share over the years and most cost you an arm, leg and quite possibly a testicle. Some of the places down in Texas will charge $ 20 just to get in the door so that you can come home covered in glitter and smelling like sickly sweet cotton candy. So that’s most likely why I haven’t graced the doors of the establishments.
But it was a Saturday night, I was with a group of Unilocalers that I’m fast becoming friends with and it was KKCs second anniversary. So why not? $ 1 cover? Ok, this may or may not be good. Beer reasonably priced with little wait time? This can’t be a good strip club, right? Beautiful and talented women, that actually play and are playful to the crowd and not look bored while on stage? Does a place like this truly exist? Why yes, yes it does.
The dancing/​singing (yes, I said singing) and pole skills of the lovely ladies at the Kit Kat Club were amazing. This place is a throwback to when people actually cared about the product they were putting out. I did find the one dancer with the «1920’s style hairdo to be quite striking. Tattoos, a dancer with a mohawk and contortionist skills were all things that are completely normal here, and appreciated.
KKC had a great stage show and the two announcers were keeping the crowd happy and announcing all the dancers. The ladies even did a routine with 13 – 14 of them on all the stages at once in honor of the second anniversary. Just watch where you walk or stand, the employees are quick to steer you in the right direction.
Can’t wait to return soon.

I’ve been a busy beaver and haven’t reviewed in a while. And yes, I used the word beaver in this review. Setting out with 8 or 9 friends to celebrate Nat’l Stripper Appreciation Day, we went first to the Acropolis for dinner then headed to the famous Kit Kat Club. This place is awesome!
The entrance fee is $ 1. The staff are proffesional and friendly. The girls are talented as shit! There is some serious balancing, contortioning, and even an amazing act where the MC dude was throwing and catching one girl as took on amazing poses.
There are supposedly two side stages, but I only saw one in addtion to the main stage. Bathrooms are odd, not bad, not dirty, just kind of odd. Drinks are $ 5 which aint bad.
We had a superb time. Everyone was seriously entertained, and often rather tittilated. Mostly smaller and tattooed girls but so very lovely and not at all the sort of tacky thing (strangers’ junk directly in my face) that makes me run the other direction.
This is what a strip club ought to be!

Five stars for the door staff, space, and diversity of entertainment. On the night we visited, they actually had male dancers catering to the female clientele. Quite a rare sight, and according to one of the dancers, quite rare for the Kit Kat Club as well.
Four stars for the dancers. Very skilled and inventive, but a little too businesslike for my taste. There is no need to give me a dirty look during the three-​minute period of time it takes for my boyfriend to return to the rack with more singles so we can continue to make it rain for you. Have a little patience. We know how the rack works.
Three stars for the bartender, who was quick with service and noticeably surly, but no more than your typical Portland bartender.
No stars for the coked-​up, paranoid dickhead who got my friend kicked out for sitting down at an empty booth before realizing there were a couple of phones and a «Reserved» plaque– but not before screaming at him, calling him a «fucking retard,» and accusing us all of dosing his drink– of which there were none on said table.
Whoever you are (the doorman would give no more detail than to say, «he’s involved»), you are not fit to be running an otherwise fun and classy establishment. Here’s hoping you’re no more than some up-​jumped shift manager who really needs to lay off the stimulants.
Though the entertainment was fantastic and the dancers beautiful and talented, I will not be returning. There are plenty of clubs in the city with better attitude and stiffer drinks.

I sincerely love this club. With two (at least) of the best Pole Dancers in Portland, contortionists, and cute, beautiful, varied women, what’s not to love?

If you sit at a stage, you have to tip $ 1/​song. You’re at a strip club, if you want to be cheap, don’t go in!
KataraTastic, Juliette, Ryder, Blazer and a few others are now favorite women I’ll return for. Go and enjoy, let your hair down and spend a few dollars on some talented ladies!

Kit Kat Club is what strip clubs used to be, and what they should be again. It’s not just about some girl strutting on stage, rude demanding bouncers, stupid $ 2 bill policies, and constant hectoring from the ladies to get a dance. It should be about an overall experience, and they definitely nail that here.
First off, no cover. Cover at strip clubs is a stupid thing. Second, the bartenders are fast and the drinks are reasonably priced. That should also be standard everywhere, but sadly it’s not. Third, the layout is great, with a main stage, a side stage and then a platform above the booths in the back that opens up every once and a while with two poles. No rack. Just for show. Love it.
On Friday and Saturday nights, they put on actual shows with an emcee who hops on stage every 30 minutes or so and introduces an actual themed act — from a girl singing (then stripping) to various costumes and performance pieces. It’s entertaining. It harkens back to a pre-​gonzo age, and it’s kind of refreshing. Also the regular dancers have some serious pole skills. Talk about core strength!
Ladies aren’t pushy, dances aren’t overpriced, and all in all, it’s a solid damn experience. It’s much more appropriate for a group of friends (like I usually travel in) that includes ladies. Because it’s almost as much about the performance as it is about the nudity. And that’s where it should be.
