We specialize in quality furniture. From transitional and traditional sofas, and chairs, to great occasional and accent furniture. We also have bedroom and dining room groups. Our main focus is «Furniture that Fits». We have the sizes that will fit in that newly remodeled family room and we’re here to help you put together that special space! We treat you with respect to your needs, listen to your wants, and will never pressure you into a sale. History

Established in 1919.

In 1919, Kuhnhausen brothers, Walter and Arnold, started their business selling vacuum cleaners door to door. In 1921 they opened a few stores from Everett, WA. to Portland, OR. They enjoyed spending quality time with customers and were also able to provide a larger array of the growing market of home appliances, like radio’s, and washing machines. After leasing different store front locations in downtown Portland and tiring of not having their own warehouse space, they found the current location on East Burnside in 1947. Having added furniture to their inventory in the war years of the early 1940’s, they decided in 1974 they would discontinue all appliances and focus on furniture. And today, the third Kuhnhausen generation continues to provide quality furniture and excellent service.
