I had never been here before but decided to stop by for some quick street tacos. Boy was that a mistake. There was 1 person in front of me so i thought it would go quick. I placed my order and waited there for 15 – 20 minutes not realizing they completely forgot about me. After going back up there the guy realized he forgot i think and made them fairly quickly but the damage had been done. The tacos were sub poor. The only saving grace were that they were 1.25 a piece. Regardless they wasted my night and I’ll never be back.

The torta was pretty good. the bun was toasted and tasted really good. the tamale was interesting. it looked to have been deep fried which provided a crunchy outer layer. its worth a try but i prefer the regular steamed tamales. the red salsa at the bar was too hot but it had great flavor. there is a language barrier but its not a big deal. the tacos looked good and i’m trying them next.

The chicken quesadilla we split was good, with the sour cream and green hot sauce. Taco with beef were good. Carnitas and al pastor tacos were not. Long wait. Good vibe. The tortas looked good, so if you’re a torta fan you might want to try one.

I love these tacos until I got chicken. The chicken tasted ratchet. I then open the taco and smelled the meat. The meat smelled sour and rotten. These SOB’s served me rotten chicken. So I spit it out! Now I don’t even want to go back. Food poison eating to happen. Stay away.

I have been visiting this place for the past 10 years and I have never had a bad experience. I strongly recommend the carnitas and asada tacos. Do not be afraid of the location! This place freaking rocks!

Come for the .99 cent tacos. Stay for the mustachioed double entendre… A gang of my fellow grave yard workmates turned me on to this unassuming lil’ taco truck on SE82nd. Every Wednesday they offer .99 cent soft tacos, and Holy Toledo Batman, they deliver savory, delish meats, todas las veces! Pork, pollo or carne asada, w/cilantro and grilled onions. Bam! The stainless steel shelf off to the right, front end o’ the truck has some particularly tasty and zippy home-made green and red salsa, along w/the stewed onions, carrots, and jalapeño medley that seals the deal. At that price, just about any appetite and budget is readily accommodated! *slapping forehead* Almost forgot, has any other reviewer yet mentioned that these guys are open LATE, like at least till 0100 most nights? Beats the pantalones off of most of the food cart biz… The Sr. owner operator of the enterprise has been at it 10 years now, and has 4 trucks scattered throughout the metro area, but the mustachioed gentlemen so expertly working the grills insisted THEY were the one and only. So there! Again, remember they are open mucho tarde— which spells mucho suerte for those of us grinding out them graveyard hours legit or on the stroll… Thought I was perfectly content w/the goodness I’d found here, but then this week on a lark ordered a couple different burritos. H-O-L-Y shnikes! A high water mark has been set. So meaty, so honkin’ huge, so unbelievably good! This is the same way Burrito Loco used to hit me waaaaaaay back in the day when burritos that size/calibre were only 2.50!!! Bien hecho, tipos y nos vemos el próximo miércoles
