History
Established in 2010.
Who are we?
Tom and Kim Rolfs, a frozen yogurt-loving husband and wife team raising two kids here in the neighborhood. We opened shop in November 2010 hoping to bring a little sweetness to our community.
What’s our story?
After working at a frozen yogurt shop in Southern California as a teenager, Kim was thrilled to see the trend coming back in the form of self-serve shops. She loved the idea of making yogurt exactly the way she wanted it, and only paying for what she got. So, when we came across the YoCream store at Cascade Station, which manufactures its own yogurt and provides a two day training for entrepreneurs, we simply couldn’t resist.
After looking for the perfect location for months, we found space on a busy corner between PSU, the Portland Art Museum, and the Portland Farmers Market. We have been warmly welcomed every step of the way, and we look forward to giving back to our community through fundraisers for local schools.
