Maria McLaughlin, LMT

Maria is wonderful! Not only is she an exceptionally skilled and intuitive massage therapist, she is very caring, great at listening and a wealth of information. Maria’s style of massage is one that I have never experienced. It was a mixture of subtle touch, rocking, long strokes and as appropriate, deeper tissue work. I’m sure there was a lot more involved, but I was too relaxed to take notice of all of her techniques. She gently and therapeutically moves your limbs to facilitate better movement and to access muscles that are often neglected by other therapist. The table is cozy warm with heat and a surprisingly comfortable face cradle. I strongly encourage anyone looking for an excellent massage in Portland to seek out Maria.
As a body worker myself, I have very high expectations and not only did Maria not let me down, she pleasantly pleased me and far exceeded my expectations.
