McCoy Freightliner

Worst customer service experience I have ever had. I will make sure myself any anyone I know does not do business here.
Dropped off my new RV with Freightliner chassis, 4,400 miles (most from delivery to my dealership) the first time we used it was in March and no problems. Next use was in August, tried A/​C and it wouldn’t work. I checked fuses and had to go on trip when the weather was in upper 90’s with no A/​C. RV dealership told me this was a Freightliner warranty issue and that’s where it all began.
Dropped coach off Monday for warranty repair was told it would be done by the end of the week. Called Friday morning to check up on it and was told A/​C is fixed and I could come get it. Perfect, load up three kids and the wife to take me a cross town for pick up. Get there and he tells me they found a loose wire in under 5 minutes and I’m good to go. Also he told me that I owed $ 406 dollars. That’s when I let him know again that this was a warranty issue. He told me loose wires aren’t warranty. Now I’m livid, I can’t take my coach without paying the money and the only person I can talk to is mr shrugs at the counter telling me he understands my frustration… No you don’t or you would wave the fee and let me talk with a manager on Monday about it. I have never been more dissatisfied with a company and the way they treat their customers. I will update this review after I call on Monday if they want to resolve this. Had I received a call saying it’s not warranty and there would be a fee, I would have kindly declined service.
UPDATE:
The above issue has since been resolved and I was credited back for the charges. Ray the service/​parts manager stepped up and admitted their faults thus making it right with me. I will go back, as this is the most convenient location to my home, but will demand a phone call before any work is performed. Thank you to Ray for taking the time to reach out and salvage a relationship.

I thought they did a really good job, they ordered the parts had them for me the next day. They told me they couldn’t get to me for couple hours, then about a half hour later they got my truck in, fix the problem and sent me on my way.
They had a comfortable lounge area and I sat in there until they were done.

RVers Beware! The service department consists of liars and incompetents. They failed to make a simple repair to my motorhome as I had requested (an air release cable re-​attachment). Instead they backed my coach into something causing $ 4200 in body damage. Of course they denied responsibility & I had to submit it to my insurance. My motorhome was new with only 4000 miles and had not a scratch on it when I left it with them. A letter to Freighliner Corporation did no good since McCoy is an independent dealer. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS! 0 STARS.

These guys have really gone down hill over the years. They never have parts in stock and hardly answer their phones.
