History
Established in 2005.
I have been taking photos for last 30 years and have progressed through many different cameras from the Kodak 110 to my now Sony a850.
Before I got into digital I was passionate about black and white pictures and learned the complete process from putting the film into my camera to handing the prints over.
These days my iPad is my darkroom, I don’t use photoshop to do digital plastic surgery and I don’t use a flash at all. With no flash there are some challenges but on the subjects side there is a far more relaxed experience with out the fear of their pupils being constricted with each release of the shutter. This especially handy when shooting babies and young children.
Originally from New Zealand I now live here in south east portland with my wife (whom is a naturopathic dr and midwiflle) and our two children.
