Stopped in here couch shopping this afternoon. Found a couple options, and when I settled on one and asked the sales guy about delivery, he stated it was $ 49.99. I thought that was a great deal, and gave the go ahead to move forward with the deal. When we got to the counter to complete the purchase and set up a delivery time, not only could they NOT deliver for a week, but he said that delivery was $ 69.99. When I mentioned to him that just about fifteen minutes prior he told me it was $ 49.99, he says «I apologize, you must have misunderstood.» I replied with «I didn’t misunderstand anything. You said $ 49.99» and walked out. I refuse to deal with such shady tactics and want to warn everyone else before they consider Michael’s Discount Furniture as an option. I ended up buying from Furniture Connection and not only got a much better deal, but the sofa is higher quality. Sucks for you, Michael’s. Shouldn’t of tried to swindle me.

My husband and I bought a dining room set through Michaels… We dealt with Cuong. Table and chairs delivered, but when they put it together they didn’t tighten the legs on the chairs down with tools. When my husbands chemo nurse sat down in the chair the leg cracked at the bolt… We called them and returned the chair. They told us it would be replaced within 2 – 3 weeks and they would deliver it back to us. It’s the end of March and we still don’t have a replacement chair. We call almost every week and we’re told to call back and talk to someone else. If you want crappy service and a mediocre product. Shop here! I’m going to buy a mismatch chair from somewhere else and pray no one notices!!!

Bought a $ 549 table salesmen were nice no deal off the price. But the table get it home there are no legs for the table. Luckily we live close so went and got legs. Opened the table out of box and the table had bubbled from the manufacture. It’s fake marble wrap and the whole side is bubbled. I called and they said they’d knock off $ 50 as is, sell floor model, or give money back. It was just a hassle all the way around. Disappointing to say the least.
