Three orders of Sashimi Combo on one plate with Uni. Always super fresh and beautiful. You never disappoint me, Mio at Pearl district. Keep up the good work!

Mio has a nice happy hour, but their rolls aren’t too impressive. I would say they’re good, just not anything stand out.

I mean, it was fine, and the price was good. The outdoor seating was pleasant. It just wasn’t setting out to be earth shattering sushi and it met that goal.

I love this place! The management and staff were so friendly and helpful. The even accomodated my documented service dog. I have noticed In other japanese restaurant’s they are a little uptight about this, but not here. I loved the veggie rolls, suniyamo salad, and spicy tuna roll. next time I will go ther for a major meal. Everything is so fresh and good. Service with a smile!!! A big smile back from me!

I’ve been to a few Mio Shushi establishments in my life, but not to one such as good as this one! The server Jane helped us out and let us customize one of our dishes to have it that way we wanted it to turn out. Looking forward to come back again, who wouldn’t want to eat out in the Pearl District!

$ 35 for my wife and me with happy hour prices and no drinks. We were stuffed! Service was fine and the rolls were delicious.

Went here for the happy hour sushi while I was waiting for an appointment in the area. The price was very reasonable for all that sushi! I had to take some with me in fact! It is off the main street which was kind of nice as well. I have been to Mio’s other locations before.

Delicious sushi, a menu that’s inventive without being twee, really reasonable prices, a KIDS’ MENU(rare and really welcome), a spacious room and friendly, warm staff. We’ll be back soon.

Finding good affordable sushi rolls with real crab is hard. Score for Mio and their many rolls with real crab. All 4 rolls we ordered were great!

There’s absolutely nothing to complain about this place. Our server was very friendly. Great atmosphere along with the soundtrack. Sushi was delicious and had a fun aesthetic plate arrangement. Very clean, and excellent prices! I would definitely come here again!

I’m happy to say that 3 years after my first visit, I still give the NW Hoyt location 5 stars! The service, food, and menu items are wonderful. I feel like a valued customer every time I go. I recently tried their bento box lunches and was delighted with how wonderful their non sushi item are too! It is rare to find a consistently good place to go. I am glad to add Mio on Hoyt to the«approved» list.

This location of Mio is great. Clean, friendly staff, and always good food. Service can be a tad slow but I understand it can take some time to make this stuff. Prices are fair and they have a ton of options to choose from. The sushi rolls come in a wide variety and are always tasty. Sushi is always fresh. It’s the the best sushi you will ever have, but it sure beats most other places! The bento box is another go-to option and comes with more than enough food! I love their miso/ginger salad dressing! They offer Happy Hour 4 – 6 Monday through Friday although I have never been. Beware that they are closed on Sundays and their Saturday hours leave them closed for a few between lunch and dinner. I learned this the hard way. They offer beer, wine, and sake which is great :) FAVES: Volcano rolls Bento with Beef Yakiniku — pretty tender and definitely flavorful Spider rolls Salmon skin Shogun roll Dragon mango roll

The sushi was just average for me. Good selection and all, but nothing was off the charts. And their ramen didn’t really taste like traditional ramen. The service is pretty good and friendly. I see this more as a weekly, consistent stop than somewhere that’s to die for. Not that that’s a bad thing either.

Mio Sushi is one of my favorite sushi places to go to when I visit Portland. Its nice and casual, not fine dining by any means but very good food. They have delicious rolls, good sashimi, and unique dishes all at a good price. Not to mention it’s nice and clean and service is pretty awesome. I’ve been here a couple times and gotten many things. The Double Crunch Roll, Super Eel Roll, Mt Fuji Roll, Vegas Roll and Salmon Skin Roll are all delicious. They are all super fresh and full of flavor. The Mt Fuji roll has crab and spicy salmon, it’s freaking good! They have such a huge and unique selection of rolls, it’s hard not to order all of them. My absolute favorite thing to get a Mio is the Sushi Pizza. Omg it’s amazing, comes of spicy salmon or tuna. It’s hard to describe but it’s like an open faced sushi roll and the fish and delicious sauce is broiled on top. You must try this if you haven’t before, I was rather skeptical at first but now I’m obsessed. They also have some unique drinks here to go with all that sushi, the sake drinks are very refreshing. I love this location, located right in the Pearl District. This location has great ambiance and is immaculately clean. The service is extremely warm, inviting and helpful. They do not have a private lot here for parking but there is tons of street parking everywhere and lots scattered throughout as well. I was excited when they finally opened a Mio Sushi in Seattle but it wasn’t even close to being as good as the one here. My only complaint is that I wish they were open later… Than again Portland is a rather sleepy town. I will definitely be back ASAP.
