Donation Yoga Schedule:

Business Owner

Dr. Clark Pitcairn started his journey in chiropractic as a patient. At the age of 7 he received his first chiropractic adjustment. He remained a patient due to the profound changes it made in his life.

As a child Dr. Clark had a chronic upper respiratory problem. His cough was so bad that it became a bit embarrassing for him in grade school. After starting chiropractic treatments, his cough began to lesson and eventually went away completely. He was able to run around and play sports with all the other kids without wheezing. His mother saw the benefit of having her kids under regular care so she made it a priority for all three of her children.

Today, Dr. Clark and his two sisters are all chiropractors. What a profound impact our doctor made on all of us and how lucky we are to have been under preventative wellness chiropractic care while growing up. Dr. Clark currently lives in N.E. Portland with his beautiful wife Julia and four boys Dylan, Brody, Tanner and Micah!

I do not like chiropractors… let me correct that… I love Mississippi Chiropractic! Dr. Clark helped me ease the strain on my neck and back from an accident with a very large truck (and me on my bicycle). Dr Clark is very professional, takes the time to explain what he is doing and makes you feel comfortable. I seriously did not think chiropractic care would help me, but it did. Dr Clark also has some of the best massage therapists on staff — top notch people. And Bethany and the rest of the staff make you feel welcome.

Have had lower back pain for years. Found this place and have been able to stay functional, keep moving and enjoy life. The massage therapist are great! Lena! Always ask for Lena. Her massages are everything. They also coordinate with my insurance wonderfully only $ 10 co-​pay.

I love this place! Everyone is really friendly and helpful. I’ve been a patient off-​and-​on for approx 5 yrs and I’ve had 100% positive experiences.
Dr. Clark is always on-​schedule which is rare for a doctor. I’ve never had to wait more than 10 minutes. The lobby has 2 deluxe massaging recliner chairs in the lobby, so sometimes I show up early for my appointments just to enjoy the chairs :)
There are several massage therapists to choose from. I’ve had massages from Kim and Catherine and both were AWESOME!!! They each have totally different methods and styles of massages, but that was okay because each time I had relief from my chronic back pain for 2 – 3 days after the massages. Nothing else has given me relief from my back pain, so these ladies get rave reviews from me.
They also have donation based community yoga on Monday and Wednesday evenings (info on their website)

I am so glad I did myself the favor of coming here. A lifetime of bad posture and sports injuries had left me in a sad state. So much pain! I felt my life reduced but I had faith. Faith that with professional training and some homework, I could regain some mobility and well, feel better about myself.
After an initial diagnosis and a great question/​answer, I was confident in my treatment and can honestly say that though I am aware of my limitations, Dr. Clark and his wonderful staff have, in a sense, given me my life back. No longer am I limited to laying on the floor, continuously stretching and hobbling in and out of chairs. No longer am I constantly complaining about my back and its pain.
Being without insurance, I was offered a decent plan and though my treatment has been out of pocket, it is my health and my life I’m investing in and I will say that it has been entirely worth it.

This place was recommended to me by someone who’s gone for years to see Dr. Clark and I liked the place as soon as I got there. Clean, friendly, professional. The Dr. is friendly and knowledgeable. I did x-​rays which was an eye opener to the issues I had due to over 2o years of physical labor. I now know why I was suffering from pain for so long. Ive gone to the same chiropractor for decades in NYC but Dr. Clark is much better.
I came to get orthotics for my feet and it was reasonably priced (well compared to NYC). I prepaid for 36 visits total as I am not insured and got a good discount. I know I need regular adjustments. I highly recommend this place.

Dr. Pitcairn and the staff at Mississippi Chiropractic offer the most caring service. They really listen and are great about communicating the causes of pain and discomfort and what it will take to remedy them. It’s a small, comfortable, smart and professional place. If you are familiar with chiropractic care, you will immediately love Mississippi. If you are new to it, you will soon understand the issues relating to your condition and be comfortable with this great group of people.

I have seen many different chiropractors over the years using varying techniques from manual, drop tables, and electronic hand held devices. Dr Clark uses all three methods when needed. These are by far the best results I have had from any chiropractor. I loved my families chiropractor growing up but took a chance on a groupon with Mississippi including a massage. I was very impressed by Dr Clarks attention to detail and really taking time to address all of the issues with my back. He has a great level of professionalism, yet down to earth and very comfortable to be around. He also has a great sense of his patients needs and always makes his adjustment at the perfect time, never catching you off guard. I have been going to Mississippi for a couple years now and am still as happy as my initial visit.

I got the Groupon that MS Chiropractic put out a few months ago and the wait list to get in was long, but well worth the wait. The staff there are so friendly and they really took the time to explain things to me. I had been to THREE other practitioners with three different diagnosis and after they did extras, the Drs at MS Chiro finally hit the nail on the head which was a huge relief. It’s a wonderful space they have there and there is a lot of rehabilitation equipment as well. I would definitely recommend this clinic and these chiropractors to anyone. :)

I was fortunate enough to discover MS Chiro and Dr. Clark Pitcairn thanks to a Groupon I had purchased for adjustment, x-​ray, and water table massage. Sounds like I wasn’t the only one!
I had seen previous chiropractors, but primarily as a means of alleviating pain once it got too unbearable. The same goes for seeing massage therapists. Dr. Clark was the first one to diagnose my spinal degeneration, and develop two treatment plans for me to choose from: either a 24– or 36-​visit course of treatment. The shorter course would be primarily for fending off painful symptoms, whereas the longer program was designed to get my spine back in alignment and alleviate muscular fatigue from having to compensate for the misalignment. In addition to the chiropractic adjustments that I had had before, there were some different techniques I wasn’t familiar with, such as head weighting, neck traction, and the vibration table. Dr. Clark was patient and kind enough to explain exactly the purpose behind each of these.
As of today’s «graduation» from the program, I can now say (thanks to before and after x-​rays, and the marked improvement in my frequency/​level of low back pain) that the treatment Dr. Clark prescribed works. There was significant home care and exercise involved, and I was in the office 3x/​week for the first month, but I feel so much better now. Thanks to Dr. Clark, Kim, Katie, and the entire MS Chiro team!

I went here after purchasing a Groupon coupon; and what the chiropractor told me didn’t match up with what my doctor stated after reviewing the X-​ray Providence took. However, I didn’t feel cheated or lied to. I thought he was very thorough and gave me lots of techniques to help strengthen my neck and even better posture. I enjoyed the regiment he showed me that day and I stil use it daily to better my health.
I like the location, the people, and the service. I recommend them any day.

Dr. Pitcairn saved me from a life of pain and suffering! He is a very professional and skillful Chiropractor. The shop is very clean and modern and he even has massage chairs for waiting patients to sit in!
I highly recommend this place to anyone!
