Excellent service and good food at amazingly reasonable prices. We were looking for a quick lunch. Located on the bottom floor of the dental/chiropractic office.

Amazing value and very friendly service. Lunch specials like bento, phở and more are excellent. Definitely the best spot to grab lunch on Sylvan hill — if you work in the area you must check it out

Nakita’s is a small family owned deli on the first floor of an office building that I work at. One might assume by its name that it is Japanese owned, but the family that owns it is actually Vietnamese. Most of their clientele are people who work in the same building or buildings in the same complex. They serve breakfast and lunch and are typically opened between the hours of 8−4pm M-F. They have a good selection of deli sandwiches and usually have a daily special, which ranges from taco salad, spaghetti to bahn mi. They have a great teriyaki chicken bento, which comes with two scoops of rice and fresh house salad. The prices are very reasonable, the most you’ll pay for a lunch is $ 6 and the most you’ll pay for breakfast is $ 5. A few of the offices in the building donate their month old magazines, so Nakita’s has a great selection of magazines to look at when you’re waiting for your food. Tanya, the owner sometimes even lets you take the magazines home or just keep if you aren’t finished reading a good article you started. Great place to network if you’re wanting to meet doctors or dentists as many of them eat lunch there between the hours of 11:45 am to 1:30 pm. What’s interesting is Nakita’s Deli is a point of interest on google maps. You would never come here unless you went into the building or happened to see them when searching for someone on google maps, as they are only word of mouth advertising. What’s funny is I don’t usually drink coffee there being that it is an espresso bar, but when I do I’ll update this post. Come support Nakita’s and tell Tanya I sent ya. :)
