Nancy saw my daughter for a number of sessions, and worked with my ex-​husband and I as well. Nancy manages to connect with everyone and speak their language, be it children or adults, and her cheerful candor and extensive knowledge is unparalleled. She was able to keep our conversations on-​task and productive, even with a highly contentious co-​parenting situation, and made sure that every interaction was designed to improve the overall situation for our daughter. She is such a strong advocate for her clients, and is personally invested in ensuring their success. I can’t think of a more competent, enthusiastic advocate to have on your side than Nancy!

Please, please look elsewhere before you spend your money on educational services here. Our pediatrician recommended Nancy Funk and we were happy with her services during our son’s many visits for educational testing. However, the point of educational testing is to get a report at the end with recommendations. Despite spending upwards of $ 2,000, we never received that report. Nancy Funk tried to reschedule our results meeting 15 minutes before the meeting. At the meeting, she said she wanted to customize the report depending on what school we decided to send our son to. Then, she disappeared. We got one call saying she’d had a family emergency and were willing to cut her a lot of slack for that. But, after repeated emails and calls, months past and we never received the report or an official copy of our son’s scores. Eight months after our scheduled results meeting, I insisted that I was coming to the office and collect our son’s scores. Nancy repeatedly said she would give us free services in exchange for our trouble, but did not follow up with calls or emails, instead choosing to disappear again. She never took responsibility for not finishing her work with us.
