Oak St. Coffee

The Cheddar Bagel and Tomato Basil Bagel were delicious, the Almond Poppyseed Muffin was flavorful and moist, and the Coffee was great too! Wonderful service, and the Barista was super friendly! Kids loved the Hot Chocolate! Definite thumbs up!

The owner, Michelle is super sweet, and her drinks are amazing. I go here almost everyday and it’s the most consistent coffee shop in town.

What a hidden little gem. I finally checked this place out after walking past three dozen times, and I“m glad I did. They use locally roasted Coava coffee (score!), super nice and friendly baristas that are always happy to chat it up and great little side snacks to boot. Also make sure to get a punch card so you’re 10^th cup is on the house.

Felt like having a cup of white mocha and found this gem. It’s a tiny coffee stand right across from the Benson hotel and I’m glad I made a visit today. My white mocha was made perfectly. I also got marionberry muffins and they are delicious! The barista was so friendly.
I’m going to try their cronuts next time I come. Which is likely… Tomorrow!

Great food and drinks! Lauren buys local whatever she can, makes as many of her own pastries as she can, and even takes special requests! So much better than overpriced chain store crap. She makes a great hot cocoa, and her muffins are really yummy. If you’re downtown, skip Starbucks and Peets and go see her.

Update: this is my favorite go-​to coffee shop out of the 20+ places near my work. My standard is a white chocolate mocha, that is without a doubt the best I’ve had. The gal that runs Oak Street (by herself, I might add) is super friendly and fast, and she actually makes a lot of the syrups and baked goods, like muffins, sandwiches and granola, that she offers.
She also makes CRONUTS. You seriously need to stop in and try one of these salty-​sweet, croissant-​layered disks of heaven. In addition to a way-​better-​than-​Starbucks pumpkin spice latte (or an egg nog latte, if that’s more your holiday must-​have). I sampled the salted caramel mocha the other day, and was rolling happy in work, caffeine and caramelly goodness for the rest of the morning. Next time: Hot Salted Caramel Apple Cider, here I come.

Stopped by a few weeks ago with some friends… barista was rude. Prices are decent but customer service not so impressive

Haha, ok I love you guys, I think the complete lack of pretense (you are at the entrance of a parking building after all), the personal service and balanced coffee make you a winner.
Really wish you the best in your business, I would definitely recommend you to friends.

The short version: Great coffee, great cookies, great experience all round.
The longer version: The home made salted caramel was tempting, but I went with my staple — 16oz non-​fat vanilla latte. It was so good it will Definitely going to be a fixture on my coffee loop — displacing public domain.
All I need now is a good NFVL in SE and I have the 5 quadrants covered!

Came here and got a caramel latte per recommendation. They were super nice and friendly, but my latte had no foam and a weird chemical-​y flavor… hard to describe. Not sure what kind of coffee beans were used but didn’t taste very high quality. I got a double tall and it didn’t taste very strong in coffee flavor… not a good sign. Standard prices — $ 3.50 for a latte.
Great service and friendly staff but based on this drink I probably won’t be back. Womp womp.

By far, the best White Mocha in town! Great service and a very unique little location on the street level of the parking garage.
