Terrible customer service. I did receive employment thru office team at a job with qualities I had specified I did not want. I was over qualified and under paid and when asked how it was going at my place of employment I expressed how I was unhappy and if it would be possible to find a new assignment which was received with no response not even a «I understand your frustration» generic response! I had several questions about benefits and sick leave and had to call repetitively to get a half assed response. Obviously you’re just a number here and you’re feeling don’t matter to the corporate suits leaching off your paycheck. Would not recommend this staffing agency.

I’ll keep this short and sweet. If you work for Robert Half, you are not a person. You are a revenue stream. They will throw you under the bus in less than a second in favor of the employer. If you have a problem, don’t expect help. If you think they are your friends, you are sorely mistaken. They are a business that is only concerned with making money, yet pretends to care about people. They will lie to your face, ignore calls and texts, and they will lie to employers to maintain their image.

A staffing agency can only do so much. You are entering into a Co employment situation. I think Office Team does a good job. They seem to offer job seekers higher than average paying jobs, with an opportunity to get a foot in the door with a company who may otherwise over-​look you as a candidate.

Office team is staffed with some incompetent people at this location, namely Tammy. She placed someone I know in a position that she had no experience in, sold the client on her being a good fit. Since the economy up here is still recovering and has a shortage of higher level jobs, and over qualified people have to take underpaying jobs to work, she decided to give it a try and really didn’t have a choice. From day one the contracting company offered little training and barely any support. All the objections and requests for help my friend made went ignored. My friend still gave it time and then had enough and wanted to quit to find something she was qualified for. When she have her notice and didn’t return, she was blamed, yelled at and blacklisted from further assistance. Tammy should shoulder most of the blame for mismatching a position and should have shown some degree of sensitivity and moved forward doing more searches since my friend has impeccable references and great experience as well as longevity at her jobs! The kind of candidate every recruiter should stand by! I should know, I used to work for Robert half! I certainly I would have owned up to my part in this if it was me, I’ve made mistakes, and she should know when she has forced a square peg into a round hole to get an easy start, if not, her division director should have. Shame on you! You deserve 0 stars

I’m not sure why this place is getting bad reviews. I think what people don’t realize is that using a temp agency isn’t a guarantee that you’ll land a job or that you’ll love the job once you have one. And if you’re crazy and unlikable, there’s a good chance OfficeTeam won’t be able to help you. Deal with it.
Officeteam connected me with a job not only in my field, but it perfectly matched my experience and qualifications, all in less than a week! They build strong relationships with their clients and could inform me of the personalities I would encounter and what I needed to prepare for in the interview. They were communicative and extremely supportive along the way.
Aside from having a good experience, the #1 reason I recommend using OfficeTeam is that they offer FREE online professional development courses, where you can get all the training you need to prepare for certifications in a variety of fields. What could be better for people working temp jobs than improving their credentials and skills? AMAZING.

I think this over again. No they never gave my friend her job they jerked her back and forth and were no help. I cant believe i even gave them one star. HA

I signed up with OfficeTeam because they were one of the agencies I was most familiar with. I had never worked with them before but I did see a job posted by them that I was interested in so I registered and applied for the job I had seen.
I got a quick response from one of the recruiters and he told me that I was not a good match for the position that I wanted but had me come in to meet him anyway for other possible assignments. Within a week, the recruiter had notified me of a postion and I started that Monday. I had a copy of the job description but as I came to find out, the position had other particulars which I lacked experience for. It was a long drive to the employer’s office but I was committed to working. As it turned out, I worked for one and a half days; the employer had me leave half way through my second day because I was not a «good match» for the position. I was dismayed but committed to finding work.
Within two more weeks and three trips to medical facilities for drug testing and health checks, I started a second assignment. I had asked for a job description because I wanted to make sure it was an assignment I would be comfortable with and not repeat the first mistake. The recruiter told me they didn’t have one for this job. Long story short, after three weeks the employer let me go claiming I did fine but they required someone with a more applicable background. I inquired as to some belongings I had left at my assignment desk and they told me repeatedly I would have to wait but they would retrieve them for me. Finally after a month, I spoke to another recruiter who told me she still didn’t have my things. At this point I was a bit short with her on the phone after getting the run-​around for so long. That was my last contact from them over two weeks ago and it will be the last time I have any other dealings with them.
I only hope to save someone else from wasting any time with this very unprofessional and inexperienced group of people who claim to be so great and so helpful. Do yourself a favor and do some research to find yourself a more professional agency.

If you value dishonesty, the run-​around, and looping through phone systems endlessly, this is the place for you.
Through Robert Half, I found two jobs. The first was okay, with decent colleagues, though i expressed that i didn’t want the position permanently because of its poor ethical practises. Eventually I put in quit notice a month in advance, only to be approached by the company’s HR department, and asked to stay a while longer. I agreed to do so, and stayed an additional month.
The second company was not a good fit. I was asked to commit to three months work, because two prior temps had bailed without warning. I asked the agency personnel if this company had poor morale or something, and was told that wasn’t the case, and the previous two temps must have been flakes. I was let go from that position, as it wasn’t a good fit.
While working at each position, on occasion i would run late, and call Office Team to let them know. I’d reach a phone tree recording, and push the appropriate keypad number to talk to personnel, at which point I’d be looped back to the beginning of the phone tree, repeat, reuse, recycle.
When I joined Office Team, I was told that I would receive a bonus if I referred a friend who was hired with them. I referred a friend to them while I was working with my 2^nd placement, and never received said bonus. I called about it twice, and left two messages inquiring how the bonus worked, and never heard back from anybody.
When I talked to the agency about being let go from my 2^nd position, I inquired about if I should still seek work with Office Team, and was told that I should, and «Sometimes it’s just not a good fit, and if both parties recognize that, it’s all the better.» That was the last conversation I was able to have with anyone who wasn’t a receptionist. Office Team has avoided speaking with me ever since. I guess they have meetings 24/​7, and a strict policy never to return calls.
I’m not sure why Office Team staff receives training in outright lying to temp-​to-​perm employees, but personally, I don’t agree with the practise.

Having worked as a Senior Staffing Specialist for over 5 years, I had a solid knowledge base of Robert Half and Office Team. Therefore, when I decided to go back to work, I applied for a part time position that was available. I went in for my interview, filled out the paperwork, etc. All was well, until the person I was to interview with walked into a meeting exactly the same time I was to interview. 45 minutes later, I was called in. There was no place for us to interview, so she rushed me into a small conference room. The questions were rapid fire, and as I tried to answer, the interviewer’s wrists were turning, as if to speed me along. I was in for maybe 5 – 7 minutes when I was rushed out and told she would submit me for the position I had been called in for. She called a couple of days later to request another submission. I never heard back from anyone regarding those positions, even though I called in my availability once a week. Then, I receive a call on a Friday afternoon, and since I was in a basement downtown at my daughter’s ballet class, I lost the connection. I immediately called back, left a message and let the person know where I was so she understood why we were disconnected, that I was still available and interested. It’s now close of business Monday, still no word on anyone. I just called in to talk to someone regarding the online training, since apparently you have to have them sign you up, and the receptionist couldn’t hear me. Instead of being professional or somewhat polished she says «Hello? Hello?» Then hung up. It would have been much more pleasant if she would have waited for a second for me to answer before hanging up, and if she did hang up, wouldn’t have it been much more professional for her to say «I can’t hear you, I’m hanging up now.»
This experience has left a terrible taste in my mouth, again, for this company. There is zero follow up, no call backs, and absolutely NO professionalism. I’m very disappointed in my experiences, and am grateful that I was able to work for their competitor in house, as I don’t believe that I could have worked for a company that treats their associates as I’ve been treated. I will not recommend, work for or have anything else to do with this company after the several failed attempts to have a professional relationship with them.
