The gift shop is quite small, and not what I would expect from a hospital gift shop. They have wonderful seasonal trinkets, and some local jewelry and purses, which I enjoy browsing through when I’m killing time. There is a cards section, and if I remember correctly you can get a stuffed animal as well if you are looking to pick something up for a patient.

Lots of great unique items, enjoyed shopping and browsing, the cashier Noelle was a little short and rude, however, when I tried to make small talk! Suggestion: hire someone who will love their job, and even if they are having a bad day they will not show it to their customers. .may not return because of that alone!

I have to admit that this gift shop threw me for a loop. Mainly because many of the tradition hospital gift items seemed in short supply(flowers, magazines), while others sections seem more suited to another environment. What I’m looking for are items to entertain the patient or myself or to bring a gift if I haven’t planned ahead. While there were a small selection of books(one carousel featuring mainly classics) and magazines, and a small section of games, I would put of their goods in the home décor category. At the moment, they have holiday items, but there were other household items throughout the store. OHSU is a large campus, so perhaps there is a larger gift shop elsewhere. However, this one is in the OHSU Hospital on the 9th floor(which appears to be the main reception area), so I expected a bit more(and less) in some areas.
