Brought 4 uniforms in on a Tuesday and she stayed 2 hours past closing on Saturday to make sure they were finished. Great job and didn’t cost an arm and a leg. Will definitely be coming back in the future. Recommend Old Port Tailoring to anyone in the area.

Brought two dress shirts here to get them tailored to a slimmer fit around the stomach and in the arms. They look and fit great!
Zeljka did an amazing job, and had the shirts finished in a week. Each one cost $ 15, which I found reasonable, since I’ve had the same work done on other shirts at other tailors and I’ve paid $ 20 per shirt.
I definitely plan on bringing more shirts and pretty much any other clothes here to get tailored.

We set a deadline and it was meet without a problem. When I picked up the dress shirts and Air Force uniform she was happy to wait and check them as I tried them on for fit. All 5 articles of clothing fit very well.
I will undoubtedly come here in the future when I need more altered.

I called Zeljka about 10 days before my wedding after trying on my wedding dress to find it did not fit well at all and a lot of the stitching that had been performed by the previous alterations shop had started to fall apart. She agreed to help me and fixed my dress in less than a week. It fit so much better. I was so happy with her work and her promise to fix my dress on such short notice. I will return to her for any alteration needs I have. Thank you!!!

I am writing specifically to share my experience — and it isn’t good. The owner of the business is a nice woman, but she has had one pair of pants for 2 months and I cannot get them back. Today was the 4th trip back and even though I had called ahead, when I arrived I found a locked door and a note on the door that said she’d be back in 90 minutes. Unacceptable. Still no pants.

I was really impressed by the tailor’s customer service. I sent a Unilocal message, after hours, to ask if same day service was possible. Two minutes later my phone rang, and it was the tailor calling to say she could tailor my item the next day.
I brought in my garment, she hemmed it for me the same day, and it looks just great! I don’t have many tailoring needs but the next time I do, I will definitely patronize this business again.

Very nice woman but be VERY clear as to when you need the work to be completed. I wish that I could speak to the quality of work but alas she missed both deadlines that we agreed to and I took my business elsewhere.

I needed some pants hemmed for a new suit, and so I took them to Zejlka. She was very accommodating and did a great job, and for a very reasonable price. If I ever need more tailoring done in Maine, I’ll be going back!

We were in town to get married, and realized we needed alterations on a coat that I was planning to wear. Called Old Port Tailoring up after finding them on the internet, and Zejlka came in ON HER DAY OFF to take measurements, make the alterations, and have it ready for me the next day. She did a great job! If I’m ever back in town and in need of some tailoring, this is where I will go, no hesitations.

Old Port Tailoring has proven to be a wonderful experience for my daughter & I as the owner, Zejlka, is a true expert in her craft. Not only is she accommodating, as well as superbly pleasant, my daughter’s wedding dress alterations were superbly completed! We enjoyed our experience along with many laughs! The wedding was fantastic as my daughter beamed and looked fantastic in her dress! Thank you, thank you Zejlka! We will be returning with any alterations needed! :0)

This is the ONLY place I take my clothes. Z is so talented & accommodating! Rather than buying an entire new wardrobe– she was able to change necklines, lengths etc. to create a new look for every piece! I send everyone here!
