I used to love this location! The staff were super friendly and the food was delicious! However, that all changed in one night. I had called in my order and when I arrived, my order was not made, somehow there was a mix up and they had to make it. This wasn’t that huge of an issue, accidents happen all the time. I watched the staff member chew on the end of a pen. She was taking the temperature of the different toppings. She looked at me and smiled, pulling the pen from her mouth and flicked it a few times against her clip board before it bounced off and she lost her grip. The pen landed right inside the cheese! I could see the saliva on the end of the pen and some of the cheese stuck to the pen. She panicked and grabbed out the pen, wiping off the cheese that was sticking to the pen. I winced as I watched her mix up the cheese really quickly, and check for anyone who saw. She then proceeded to start my order. I walked out before I had to pay. It was so gross and I have never returned! Beware!

As many who have read my reviews know, I am super picky about my pizza. I don’t usually take it lightly. On this peticular day, hunger won over. I just moved in with a friend and between getting my stuff organized in her basement, a mutual friend painting her front room and me starting on projects around her house for her we almost forgot to eat. She had a gift card(so she thought) for Papa Murphy’s and with gift card and cash in hand off I headed for a BBQ Chicken pizza and a salad. It’s small and only two employees, but you’re not eating there, you’re taking it home and baking it at 425 degrees, just like the commercial says. The BBQ Chicken pizza isn’t on the menu any longer, but you can still or it. BBQ sauce, chicken, onions, peppers, bacon(subbed out for mushrooms), scallions, and lots of cheese. So I went to use the gift card that was suppose to have money on it? Expired. Her sister told her it had $ 30 on it… oh well. Food paid for, out the door and into the oven the pizza went. For a fast food type pizza place this was better than most. Heads above pizza slut, pizza inn or Papa Johns. I could see getting something from there in a pinch. It’s not NY pizza but when hunger strikes and if one was close by, I wouldnn’t pass it up. Enjoy.

I have never found Papa Murphy’s pizzas to vary by location, and that’s a good thing. No matter which Papa’s I visit, I can always count on a great pizza at a great price. This location also has a great staff. On my last pop-in I counted 5 employees, all hard at work, all smiling; their bellies must have been full of delicious pizza!
