Today, 6÷4÷2013, I went to the Parkrose Chateu to buy a meat slicer that was listed on Craigslist by the owner/manager Craig Collins. When I arrived he was no where to be found. His wife showed me the meat slicer, which was supposed to be a brand new, in the box, Globe G12 slicer. Not only was the meat slicer obviously used, with chunks of some unidentified substance streaming from the bottom, but it wasn’t even a Globe G12. It was a cheap slicer not even worth half the value of a G12, conveinently placed inside a globe box. Usually I wouldn’t post a review for a common mistake, but all the evidence suggested that she deliberately was attempting to decieve me. She insisted that it was, in fact, a new Globe, when it clearly said on the meat slicer that it was a different brand. Now I don’t know about you, but if I’m putting family in a retirement home, it’s important to me that the owners are honest. Stay away!
