I just recently visited this fairly new import shop near the Uptown Center — just off W Burnside and NW 23rd. Wow! I was pleasantly surprised to find a sweet little shop filled with lovely imported clothing, textile and jewelry from South America and Mexico. All the items appear to be carefully chosen. After speaking with the shop owner –Sarah Bistue — awhile it became apparent that she not only has an exquisite eye for beautifully crafted items, but, she also has a conscious. It’s her commitment to providing well crafted goods, at a fair price, to her customers and at the same time making sure the artist are payed fairly for their craft.
This place could be easily overlooked since it’s a block off of NW 23rd. But, should be sought out.
