At night you’ll usually see this one guy working behind the counter, he’s stalky, Caucasian, wears glasses and is not big on politeness or small talk. I’m not sure why, he’s not quite rude, but definitely not a pro at personable demeanor. The products here are as usual, travel sized toothpaste, microwave foods, candy etc… I only come in here if the stores I typically visit aren’t open yet(sometimes my day begins at 3am) or if the stores I visit are REALLY crowded. I grew up with plaid pantries, and I like the familiar feel. Also, I’ve never bought something that was expired from THIS location. I hate having to check dates anywhere other than discount stores. Come here if you’re in need of an allergy pill, cigarettes or blue bunny ice cream. At 3am. Lol, happy hunting Unilocalers.

It’s a convenience store, not Whole Foods, but they have some of the most pleasant, articulate convenience store clerks I’ve ever encountered(which I admit is not a huge pool). I have to imagine their management is pretty good since they mostly seem like folks who could have jobs with higher status if they wanted.

AI as far as Plaids go I preferred the friendliness of the clerks at the one on Killingsworth over this one. I don’t blame them though, working at a Plaid on a busy street would make me cranky too. Still it’s nice to have a 24 hour market nearby for late night beer/snack runs.
