Point West Credit Union ATM

This ATM is always easy to use before a stop at the nearby food cart pod. I also really like PointWest as if you call after «banking» hours you will get an answer over the phone if necessary. I once called because my receipt was trapped in another one of their ATMs.
This ATM has been upgraded to current ADA and software standards, so I haven’t used it yet. The old OS/​2 terminal is gone, but the same accessible product remains.
I use a credit union and am a Co-​Op member so I don’t pay a fee to withdraw here, but even if you weren’t a Co-​Op member, Point West charges a fee half of other banks ($ 1.50) for non customers.

STOP! Don’t use that corporate bank ATM! Here is a FREE ATM for credit union members! I can’t get over how great this is.

Nestled amongst like 5 different banks that charge $ 3 – 4 ATM fees is this unassuming little ATM kiosk. It’s basically the size of a doorway, with a dingy green little square awning over it. It’s very close and convenient to the food cart pod at SW 5^th and Oak — just a block away.
But seek it out! Because, again, it’s owned by a credit union that’s part of the nationwide credit union co-​op thingie, there is NO FEE if you use your credit union ATM/​debit card to withdraw cash here. (I’m not sure how much the fee is for a non-​credit-​union card — but at least then your money’s going to a credit union instead of a big jerky bank.)
