Four stars??? Wtf. They can’t find my records, put me off, don’t call back. Been dealing with them and my docs for weeks… Gotta wait weeks for an appointment???

I visited Dr. Comancho back in November. She was very professional, her staff was as well. I enjoyed our visit. She went over everything that I needed to know, and educated me on the uses of medical marijuana. I can’t say enough nice things about her! Thanks Dr. Comancho!

They answer their phone. Other stuff becomes secondary at places like this.
The reviewer who commented on the African American woman… why does her ethnicity matter? If she was yelling, thats inappropriate, but her blackness is not on trial. Sad.
This place was friendly and professional when I helped an elderly relative use their services. They’re less expensive and more responsive than their competition.

I have renewed my OMMP card twice with Dr. Camacho and I would not go anywhere else. Dr. Camacho is so nice and very knowledgeable, every year I learn something new. And the staff at Portland Alternative Clinic are just as wonderful. Very, personable and respectful. I have read the reviews that other people have posted and they must be talking about a different clinic, there’s nothing but good things to say about them. And there new location on Barbur Blvd. is so convenient.

I found the new clinic location easier to find and parking was great and free. I renewed this year & the past location was somewhat difficult. This location is much better. Staff and doctor still great!

Absolutely terrible. The doctor is careless of her patients and does not show any compassion whatsoever. I just left the the small and nasty looking clinic where I was being screamed at by the fat large-​skirt wearing receptionist on how I don’t qualify, for goodness sake she was YELLING at me. Never entering this business ever again. If I could give 0 stars I would.
EDIT: how funny. directly after I left and wrote this review, I visited another clinic not but 2 miles away where the SAME RECORDS i had were reviewed by their doctor, & I was approved. People: don’t waste your time or your money coming here trying to get a medical card. If you’re a normal person like me with pain but no cancer or significant ailment like that, this clinic will kick you to the curb. Go to another one where they honor patients like I did, literally got my ommp 20 minutes after this place denied me.

This place doesn’t want business. I moved to Portland from southern oregon and I’ve been trying to renew my card with them for a week and a half! I’ve called everyday and left voicemails to only be ignored. I had to drive down there to see two women behind the desk chatting, several hours after leaving a message. I at that point decided I would still do business there so long as they would do what they say (call me when my records arrive via fax). I called my clinic in S Oregon the next day to follow up on my medical records and they said they faxed it. So I call Portland alt clinic and leave a voicemail. No call. Next day. Voicemail unreturned. Following day, same thing. My conclusion is to drive 5 hours south to Ashland where patients are appreciated and concerns are met. The fees are cheaper at PAC than other clinics in the area but this is a true example that you get what you pay for. This ruined my experience to deal with any other clinics locally as I now have no more time to wait on people to get organized. I’m going to drive to Ashland and get it done right. Thanks dr camacho for your attentive staff!

I’ve renewed here each time and I can’t think of a single negative mark to give the clinic. I’m in and out quick as can be and any questions I’ve ever had regarding OMMP paperwork or regulations have been answered in the most knowing and professional manner. I would recommend anyone who’s seeking their medical freedom to use cannabis to visit Dr. Camacho, and get enrolled.

Super easy to get an appt. I didn’t have to wait too long to see the dr. once I arrived. Very pleasant waiting area and the girls at the front desk were nice as well. I was surprised that the doctor spent a lot of time with me during my appointment. More than my PCP usually does that’s for sure. Dr. Camacho is very professional but approachable as well. I love all the people at this clinic. If you need an OMMP card this is the clinic to go to.

Dr. Camacho was very professional and gave me a lot of information to research. She has a kind and compassionate manner. I truly felt like I was conversing with a GP the way they used to be before HMOs. I had done some research before I got there and was still given a huge amount of knowledge. The staff was friendly and all in all I felt quite comfortable with my visit. It is reminiscent of visiting a physician in Europe.

They called and rescheduled my appointment, and when I showed up for my new appointment they lied to my face and told me I had called and canceled my appointment; the receptionist was rude. I will never use this joke of a clinic again.
